Had an early dinner and the crowd ebbed and flowed. The food was very good, fish was excellent and everything on the dish complimented each other.

Ate here on a Tuesday night in November. The Restaurant was quiet but it did still have a good atmosphere. Staff were very nice and very helpful. I had the pork belly with scallops. Fantastic. All the food was excellent and even though the restaurant was quiet the courses were well spaced. We will go back again at some stage.

On a recent quiet weekday night, we walked into An Port Mor looking for a good meal. We were greeted by a great staff that offered us local beer and home made bread and spreads. Maybe because it was cold and damp, we both opted for a steak. The restaurant carried beef from a local farmer; rib eyes. Our meals... More

Passing through Westport on a Thursday evening, we decided to save on the cooking at home. For anyone who doesn't know Westport, it is full of excellent eateries, so the choice was difficult. As this was a mid week treat, I was looking to dine on a budget, (well to a certain extent) so I was looking for an Early... More

If you visit Westport and don't eat here, then you have missed out. I'm not going to start rating this and that because everyone is different. All I can say is that this place is at the top of its game. I felt like Firmino and the chef was Coutinho feeding me all theses great dishes to finish off.

We were lucky to get a table in An Port Mor on a Tuesday night. We were greeted by two great staff who looked after the entire restaurant with ease. To start we had fresh Crab salad which was delicious. We had a Ribeye and Sole on the Bone for mains. Both main courses came with perfectly cooked vegetables and... More

We, a group of six friends, visited this restaurant on Friday 11th November. It had been recommended by one member of the group who had dined there on a previous occasion. I'm happy to say we were not disappointed. The meal from start to finish was excellent. I had the steak for the main course. I cannot recall having eaten... More

Description
An Port Mór Restaurant is run by Chef-Proprietor Frankie Mallon. Our philosophy is to use seasonal, artisan produce from local suppliers. House specialities include pot roasted pigs cheeks with black pudding & apple and vanilla sauce and 21 day dry-aged sirloin. The main emphasis is, however, on local fresh seafood and shellfish, particularly lobster, crab, scallops and langoustines fresh from the west coast of Ireland, especially Clew Bay.
