My boyfriend and I ate here on Friday evening. The food was tastes, we had toasted ham and cheese sandwhiches and chips. Everything was fine until a drunk oap at the bar opened his fly and was about to wee on the floor. He left the seat and floor drenched from where he had wet himself. The bathroom was far... More

Nice traditional pub to drop in for a quick lunch. The front looks nice, while the back has lost the traditional feel. Still, friendly staff worth calling in.

Mostly locals, maybe not on the tourist radar? But the ambiance and decor was nice, food was good. Traditional cottage pie - very tasty, large serving. Nice quick service Banoffee Pie very mild taste, not too sweet like some but not our favorite in Ireland Irish blond ale Co Mayo brewery was as expected, a light ale.

We stopped in the West after a visit to Matt Malloy's pub. The seafood chowder was the best I've ever eaten. Talking to the bartender, I found out that they have won several awards in Ireland and in Rhode Island, USA.

We were here a few times before on various holidays to Westport. We always found that the food was good and very reasonably priced but that the service was hit and miss. This time we found the service very good and the food as good as always.

Service was good, ambience very good, food really good. quaint area of restaurant to have a good meal. Several members of the tour ran into each other at dinner time. We all enjoyed our choices and never felt rushed to eat and leave.
