Stopped in here on our way back from L'Anse aux Meadows for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. This is a very nice restaurant for lunch (and probably any other meal). The restaurant is large, spacious and nicely decorated. The staff are super friendly and the service is prompt. We had the fish and chips and chowder and both were excellent.... More

We stopped here for lunch after visiting L'anse au Meadows because of the good reviews this restaurant has gotten on Trip Advisor. Because it was just a lunch stop I ordered only the creamy cod chowder. Excellent! A local Newfoundlander at the next table told us this was the best place for fish 'n' chips. This restaurant is definitely worth... More

Another of the great little places to eat on the Northern Peninsula. Try the fish and chips, and fish in Newfoundland is always cod, they are very good. As usual, wonderful Newfoundlander friendliness from the staff.

We had a wonderful lunch today at Northern Delights. My husband had the Viking Burger which he thought was one of the best burgers he had ever had. I paid the extra dollar for "home fries" which are hand made french fries instead of made from frozen fries with my Famous Fish and Chips. The cod and fries were wonderful.... More

Stopped after a tour at L'Anse aux Meadow. Enjoyed the fish and chips, the Quidi Vidi beer and a great blueberry dessert.

Stop here for some thing warm after a cool trip to L'ANSE AUX Meadows and we were pleasantly surprised. Just a little ways from LAM and we found good soup and sandwiches at very reasonable prices. A great display of hand made quilts and good pricing. A great stop for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Stopped for lunch after a chilly tour at L'Anse aux Meadow. Enjoyed the hearty fish chowder and toasted BLT. Wonderful, warmed blueberry pie, unexpected but fab was a more buiscuit type crust. Seasonal from April to Thanksgiving.

So many claim to have the best fish and chips but Northern Delights really does! Call ahead to find out what day the Mummers come to dance and entertain. Live local music adds to the fun. Laid back comfortable family restaurant. Great value.

Northern Delights is a simple place with spectacular food. I had heard other tourists recommend it so I stopped for a late lunch after l'Anse aux Meadows. The crab was perfectly cooked and the sides were great. Staff were very friendly.
