We had a fantastic first visit to The Weighbridge Brewhouse in 2016 for my daughter's birthday, so we were really looking forward to a great evening. We were shown to our booked table for 2. After 20 minutes supervisor, Ricky, finally arrived to take our food and drinks order. We got our drinks, and as we were chatting we were... More

The Building is an historical gem and well worth the visit for that alone. There are good access roads and a big car park. It is situated in the centre of Swindon next to the Designer Village, so after a good meal you can go shopping. We went for Sunday Lunch the service was good the staff were friendly and... More

Wonderful food, would certainly revisit. Service sadly very slow, despite many friendly staff (10/15 minutes to receive a drink - we expect the food to take time as it is all freshly prepared). I do think they could benefit from creating more atmosphere in the dining space - it was very bright and no music. I think it may be... More

Went here for the first time last night. Have to agree with previous reviews. For the prices they charge you would expect excellent levels of service but this was sadly lacking. My friend ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress had no idea how to open it, so he did it instead. Again, no-one asked if the food was... More

The best (12oz) rib eye steak I've ever had, please make sure you have it medium rare😀. A top restaurant offering top quality food including game meat. They also have their own onsite micro brewery. Super friendly stuff. I highly recommend the place. I would advice booking a table especially for weekends, they do get very busy.

Wow the food was delicious the place is amazing... it's an old storage unit for the train carriages. The decor is tasteful and unique. A beautiful lady played harp for us whilst we ate out meal. I have the spinach and mushroom pie which was gorgeous. However I warn people the cheese is strong and rich (bishops cheese) not for... More

Have visited here regularly with large groups in the past, spending significant sums of money, and for what you get, it's expensive. Over the course of 2 years of visiting, the menu has not changed. The food is competent - nothing special, but when you see the same things visit after visit it all becomes a bit tired. If you're... More

I really like the setting of the restaurant, though it doesn't appear to always be open. The options of food are quite diverse and interesting, but it seemed very expensive for what I had. I may visit again though and reassess.

Service poor ,food average and overpriced.long wait for food, no enquiry on 'How is your meal '. Inconsistency in table staff, no welcome, no maitre d in overall charge. It was disappointing to say the least. Plus drinks were very expensive.

I have been going to the Weighbridge Brewhouse since it opened, and their pervious establishment (The Three Crowns) for over 20 years. Last week's visit was my first bad experience. The menu seldom changes, so I was pleased to see a 1 kilo pot of mussels on the menu for the first time. My daughter and I both had this... More
