The 2nd time we have eaten here, the tempura veg was delicious and such light batter, the veg spring rolls were a little greasy compared to others I have had. The Thai green curry ( such a favourite) did not disappoint I really loved it...More

Thank you for this review. I am glad you and your husband enjoyed your meal. You made a good choice of wine to go with the food you ordered. I will pass on your comments to the smiley waitress.

Good tasty comfortable Thai food at acceptable prices. Good service and welcoming environment with several rooms on the first floor allowing a bit of privacy between groups.

My husband and I love Thai food and recently moved to Basingstoke. We had heard that the Lime Leaf was good and it did not disappoint. In a town with lots of chain restaurants, it was nice to visit a quality independent eatery. The squid...More

This is possibly the best restaurant Basingstoke has to offer - to say it's the best Thai in the town is obvious. Set in an old building at the top of town, upon entering they usually usher you upstairs. There you'll find high walls and...More

Looked a lovely place from the outside with a great looking menu. Sadly inside left me unimpressed. The waiter was sniffing very noisily and badly needed to go and have a good nose blow and wash. The tables are completely bare - no table cloths...More

Thank you for this review. I am sorry about the sniffing waiter. He was suffering from hay fever. We need to manage that. With regard to your comment about lack of finesse, we do not claim to be a fine dining restaurant. Our aim is...More

We've been several times to this restaurant and will continue to. Always very friendly. The food is gorgeous, fresh and full of flavour and very reasonably priced. They have both downstairs and upstairs dining, upstairs dining feels a bit cosier. My favourite place to eat...More

Hi, I'm really keen to visit at lunch time, possibly over the next few days/weeks as I have heard great things. I have had a look at the menu online, and I like the sound of a lot of the dishes on offer although I am quite a fussy eater and dislike most sauces and certain ingredients - I was wondering if certain dishes could be served without particular ingredients/sauces and whether certain dishes can be customised according to likes/dislikes. Would it be a problem for you to customise dishes or remove sauces, or would this be possible when I visit? Thank you very much in advance for your help, J386.
