Visited on a recommendation and to take advantage of the kids play area whilst having lunch. It was Father’s Day. Roast beef was tough, inedible. Vegetables and roast potatoes nice enough, gravy lacking any real taste. Trying to be too fancy seemingly without the skills...More

I have been to the Sun Inn on several occasions but we were disappointed last night. Two of us had the celerariac and Apple soup which was not very nice. Tasted of nothing. Beautiful bread to go with it though. A couple of my family...More

I've been told many a time, by various friends, how wonderful the food is here, but I've never had the chance to eat here... Until tonight. The food was absolutely amazing, so tasty. I had the salmon to start, which, amongst other garnishes had gin...More

Surprised by all the positive reviews of this place...I’d like to preface this review by saying our food was actually very good. However that was the only good thing. Service was incredibly slow and apart from one person (who I believe is the new manager)...More

Came here to enjoy a Sunday roast with family. Great food. Plate fully loaded. All tasted really good. Kids well accommodated. The play area outside kept them amused after they finished their kid friendly food. Great range of beers on tap and the prices are...More

Hi Thank you for the enquiry. I would also recommend booking in advance for the weekend and Friday's. The rest of the week will be 99% of the time have room in the bar area.
