Across from the James Herriot Museum in Thirsk UK...nice local pub, not fancy, but nice folks...Fairly well stocked whisky bar, and half a dozen droughts. Stop by after visiting the museum, it is a priceless experience.. for all creatures great and small😊

The food is cooked to perfection and the service good. Not a place you can just pop into unless your really lucky, as it is very popular, you do need to book a table.
We had Sunday lunch there last week. Do book in advance as it gets quite busy. Parking is fine as got spaces outside the premise. Food was excellent. Portion is good. Will definitely return again when back in the area.
