The garden centre is wonderful, they have the facility beautifully maintained, very clean and very well organised. The Shop is full of some beautiful things, I could spend hours there. The staff are extremely pleasant and the food in the restaurant is divine! Can't wait to go back!

This is a comprehensive garden centre, very clean with good quality plants and wide range of accessories. Cafe is well above average for similar garden centres. A good range of hot food and freshly made sandwiches, (about £4.75) lovely looking cakes and scones and an ice cream bar. Biggest surprise, a big mug of coffee for £2! Not the Costa/Starbucks... Visited with elderly parents, good place to take a wander through the various displays sheltered from the weather. Excellent cafe for drinks and treats, huge selection of delicious looking cakes. The also have well stocked locally provided produce shop (farm shop type style). Easy to pass a few hours and also easy to find something that catches your eye to... More

We visited a chicken farm next to the garden centre and thought we'd pop in. It was a well stocked garden centre. The plants were healthy and looked after. The cafe was nice, your average prices. We had a sausage barm as it was only 11, it was nice. I had a cherry bakewell it was bug and tasty. My... More

Sandwiches and scones were pleasant enough; nice big dining area and pleasant river views. Ice cream afterwards a little bland.

If you're passing by on the A6 its quite a nice place to stop off for an hour or so. They sell a wide variaity of items, also they have a good farm shop selling local produce and unusual items from abroad. The resturant and cafe also sells some good food at reasonable prices

Visited to see their Spring display...and it was lovely. Their plants are so healthy...yes they cost a little more than your average garden centre, but a good size and well cared for. The staff are really helpful...a lady who saw us struggling to carry our plants and compost, offered to get a trolley and then helped us load it...only wish... More

Went to the Riverside café to meet up with friends for lunch. The hot food choices didn't look worth the money and also looked as if they had been standing on the hot counter for quite a while. My friends had the hot choice and were very underwhelmed by it. I decided to have a salad but there wasn't many... More
