This pub looks nothing special from the outside but do not drive past! Great food at very reasonable prices, well kept beers and great service with a smile. The Sunday lunch was great value at £7.95. Well done to you all.

Called in here for lunch whilst passing. Nice atmosphere, good fire, varied seating. Small selection of decent beers. The menu interesting with a specials board too. Chose a couple from the starters, whitebait (good) and veg samosas (average), with a portion of excellent chips. Good friendly service. Worth a visit.

The bar area was packed with locals and hard to get noticed . At 5.30 both our children needed the toilet /... More

Love coming here, it has such a lovely feel to it. Drinks and food are great! I absolutely love the beautiful open fire with really really comfy couches around it! Would highly recommend to take a visit if you haven't already!

Booked a party of 16 people for a post walk meal. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and the regulars. The food is really nice and tasty and very reasonably priced. I recommend the pork medallions with black pudding mash from the specials board. Delicious. This is a little pub with a good sized car park in... More

The Sunday Lunch is fantastic value for money & the beef tastes amazing It is made properly with fresh vegetables & a great looking Yorkshire pudding. The service is spot on so every credit to the waitress / Bar staff. Our table was all male loud & a few of the Chaps have a direct-wry/dry wit. The Chef demands mention... More
