Lovely pub, first time visiting. Went with my husband for dinner and we got the chilli cheese burger which was on a 2 for 1 deal. Definitely worth the money. Would recommend anyone to try.

Was nice to see a barman being trained up while we visited. Smoking area outside is big and covered to protect from the elements. Drinks were a fair price, toilets clean. Overall it was a nice pub

Came here for lunch with friends and we all loved it. Asked for chefs name and they said Chris gaskell. Service was brilliant and the portions were plentiful. Would highly recommend.

Well worth the visit, would highly recommend to anyone who fancies a good selection of food cooked by talented people, chef Chris I believe made my dish and it was perfect and tasted amazing, presentation was superb as well :)

The Guild Merchant pub is a classic Two for One brand under Marston's Inns and Taverns, It is a newly Refurbished pub in 2013, its got a lovely outside dining / play area and a covered smoking shelter, We provide BT sport with on 42inch TV for all you sport fans!! We run a Quiz night on a Tuesday which is very popular and attracts all customer base. We cater for all sorts of people including buffets for special events.
