Bohemian place that's as much about the art as about the food. Toasted veggie sausage sandwich was just the job and the 'Vegan Fog' earl grey soy latte was something a bit different. Looking forward to eating on the outdoor patio come next summer.

Looks bohemian and cosy when you go in. Very dark, but still nice. The coffee is terrible, and the baked potatoe with veggi chilli was so bad I couldnt eat it.! The potatoes were black, burned underneath and rock hard, and the chilli was nearly all sloppy green peppers. I felt sick. They did not give me a plate but... More

This is very friendly place. The staff are always welcoming and there are loads a of tables and lots of space to sit and chat. They do some exciting teas like Russian Caravan tea as well as standard stuff. Food range is limited but good value. There are always vegetarian options available. Great place for a quiet talk with someone... More

I went it to experience the place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and great coffee and cakes I'd heard about. I got the latter, but certainly not the former! When I arrived the server was banging loudly under the counter and was obvious to me approaching the counter, waiting to be served or saying excuse me. When she finally surfaced... More

It's my new favourite place! Great cup of tea and yummy flapjack. They are also running a 'suspended coffee' scheme where you can buy someone a tea/coffee...you pay the money and when someone comes in who can't afford to pay they can have it! Thought that was lovely so I had a go. Really comfy seating. Lots of different areas... More

Such a cute little place full of cosy corners, yummy coffee and kitschy goodness. I love it. Fully recommend the brownies too! :D

I've been to Nexus on several occasions and have since fallen in love with the cafe! Located in the basement of a building in the Northern Quarter, Nexus is something of a sanctuary and quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city streets. The food is fresh and homemade and the prices are all really reasonable. I love... More

Very interesting place, lovely art and fun to explore, especially the zine library - however I found the atmosphere dark and the music sad, which lowered my mood a little. However they have vegan options which my friend enjoyed and it is pretty, so overall I am likely to recommend to people interested in a different place to eat, especially... More

Just visited here earlier today, stumbled across this gem whilst exploring Manchester. The food was really nice and the outdoor seating area has character if you want to relax and take time out from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff were amazing too :) Will definitely pop in here again.
