Booked for the afternoon tea deal. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Fabulous that you can take your own alcohol. We had a bottle of prosecco and were given an ice bucket and proper champagne glasses. Nothing was too much trouble. We had sandwiches, scones, brownie and a choice of fresh cake. It was all presented beautifully and tasted... More

Came here for a mocha and for £2.10 for a regular size, it is a decent price. The food here looks good, but i didn't eat. I may well return in the future for food.

On a night stop in Manchester I was looking for somewhere to have breakfast Sunday morning. The reviews for this were good and I decided to find it. Highly recommended. I was greeted by a smile from the lovely waitress who was attentive throughout. The menu is extensive catering for veggies too. I wish I had taken a photo of... More

This small place was near the Premier Inn we were staying at. Needed somewhere for breakfast on Sunday morning. Great choice. Breakfast bun was so tasty. Freshly cooked and made. Would definitely recommend this place

We enjoyed tea and cakes here after spending a few hours in the Manchester Art Gallery across the road. The service was friendly and the cakes were tasty. We is on the comfy settee and chairs with view to the road to watch the world go by. Look out for special offers and goodie bags on special occasions like mother's... More

Had a lovely breakfast here whilst killing time waiting for a train. A good, attentive waitress who was prompt taking our orders. A nice restaurant with good food, which wasn't expensive but was good quality. One of our party opted for the muesli, which she couldn't finish because there was so much of it! We had the fried breakfast, very... More

We had been shopping in town on a lovely spring day & the welcoming warm atmosphere in the cafe was just the ticket. We had coffee & cakes, which were delicious. Definetely go again, a refreshing change from all the big name coffee shops that seem to be everywere.

What a lovely place. Staff friendly and happy to help. We both had afternoon tea which arrived on a huge double decker platter! 4 types of sandwiches on lovely soft crustless bread accompanied by a savoury pastry. A scone, chocolate brownie and a slice of cake of your choice all washed down with a pot of tea. I waddled out... More

I've never had afternoon tea before, I'd always been put off as embarrassingly I am an extremely fussy eater. When I think of afternoon tea I think of posh hotels that are firstly overpriced and secondly just full of things I don't like to eat! When my friend suggested meeting up in Manchester for afternoon tea my heart sank but... More
