I gave the stars only for the ambient. It was very pleasant and clean. I gave only 2 stars because I love french traditional food and wine, and it was the first time for me to finish my meal in France and be utterly unsatisfied. The meat even if was well cooked was very fat, the choucroute had no taste... More

We were nicely welcome and all tables are spacious. Food is good but nothing special - and my rösti potatoes were really undercooked.

Discovered this on our first night in Colmar, and we'd have been happy never to eat anywhere else for the rest of our stay. Cosy atmosphere, friendly service and food that leaves you wanting to eat it all over again. The flammekueche was great, but you can get that anywhere in Colmar, whereas the specials... Venison with fresh figs, scallops... More

dozens of restaurants to choose from--and they all look great from the outside! But the locals will tell you that this along with two or three others are the top-of-the-line places to have a civilized dinner in hushed corners with great service, quality flavors, and no fuss great wines. Without a reservation we were able nonetheless to prevail on the... More

Nice, modern design restaurant with a local and fusion cuisine- in some contrast to mutltitude of places serving tourists just choucroute and tarte flambee in rustic, gloomy spaces... The pesto flavoured lamb shank was quite good.

After a long day of walking through the town we wanted a simple dinner. Pumpkin soup and foil Gras was great And they take walk in on Saturday nights.

We visit Colmar for a few hours on our trip via Wine Route in Alsace region. So we stopped at this restaurant on our walk through the Old Town. We ordered pizza and steak from the kids menu, and it was good. Steak is actually hamburger patty, which our boys love. Over all great service, location and food.

We were only in Colmar for 1 night and chose this restaurant. Great food. Good service. Quirky decor. Definately recommend the Creme Brulee- it's big enough to share!

To be honest, I wish we would have came back here the second night too! We arrived rather late and we were quickly given a table (the restaurant was very full). Our server was great, the food was wonderful and wine superb. The decor of the restaurant was also very intriguing! A boar wearing pearls!? We definitely recommend this adorable... More

Was the first place we went to in Colmar. It really is a great place to visit they have got really well designed and interesting restraunt. Food was good although we did just default to the tarte flambe. Staff were really pleasant and it was not overly pricey.

Thank Richard R
