Everything in this patisserie has the highest quality. The staff is very friendly, some are perfect in English language.

Lured in by the gorgeous artistic window displays, I had to try one of my favorite viennoisseries: brioches aux pepites de chocolat. Also picked up the local traditional kouglehopf. These were so both good, I returned multiple times for the same. Note: later in the day the choclolate chip brioche was sold out, so make sure to stop in mornings.... More

Store looks like a jewelry store with products like works of art. We sampled a few things - myrtille torte - which was blueberry - was outstanding.

The best macarons I have ever had in my life. We also tried the Black Forest cake. Different from the traditional German version, but quite wonderful.

Everything is visually stunning! I bought a macaron there. It was probably 1.8 euros or something. The look is beautiful but the taste didn't impress me.

Upon entering Gilg, you will feels like entering a shrine. It is an immaculate shop on Gran Rue Street. The cakes display is absolutely gorgeous, there is a huge variety of cakes. It’s a mixture of colors and form that is attractively displayed. The Glig is a baking patisserie since 1936. The shop has been renovated lately in Zen decoration.... More

This patisserie is a must in Munster,( it is not a restaurant, only a shop ) it exists since generations and there you can buy very fine chocolats and macarons, it is a pity that they shut down their tea room, it was a real plus to their business !

The stunning window display at Patisserie Gilg caught my eye from quite a distance, and the cakes absolutely lived up to my expectations - in particular, the decadent chocolate-hazelnut cake called `le Cube' was the most delicious chocolate confection that I've ever tried. We also sampled a delicious brioche stuffed with almond cream and a fantastic salted caramel macaron. Patisserie... More

I really love sweets and everything looked very fine. But the cake I took wasn't fresh anymore; and the sweets were fine, but nothing really special. I wouldn't go there again.
