Small cosy restaurant. Friendly, personal service. Reserve or go early to get a table. Opens at 7pm. Food is good. Lamb shank did not disaapoint. Trout was done well, paired with sauerkraut, potatoes and horse radish. We tried the calf kidney - unusual dish but good. Starters - escargots and terrine with foie gras. Portions appropriate for one person (Asians).... More

We went twice to this cosy little place when we were in Strasbourg. The food is excellent, wine delicious and the owner very friendly and helpful but the best thing is how quiet and civilised it is. Yes people talk quietly because it's small but there is no music and you can talk normally without shouting which is a rarity... More

A romantic restaurant serving great food at reasonable prices. Located in a cul-de-sac in the center of town, serving dinner at 8-10 tables, a reservation is recommended. Run by an attractive couple, the husband does most of the cooking and the wife takes care of the customers and the front of the restaurant. The menu is small but covers lots... More

We made a recommendation at the restaurant based on other reviews and we are happy we did. The owner was very welcoming and extremely helpful making for a nice evening. The food is great for home-type cooking, but nothing fancy. If you are looking for a casual meal in a nice atmosphere, then I would recommend.

We arrived as soon as it opened and thankfully there was a table available (we noticed later that both in the restaurant and on the phone she had to turn down people because it was full). One of the most positive things is that locals eat there which is sth I always look for in cities I visit. The service... More

We were lucky enough to get to the restaurant as soon as they opened because there was only one table that hadn't been reserved. The daily specials are only in French but the owner was very nice and she explained everything to us in English. I ordered the escargot and lamb shank, she ordered the veal. The escargot was good.... I would definitely recommend seeking out this lovely restaurant. The ambiance is cozy and wonderful, and the owner is very warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and a great way for us to experience Alsatian cuisine while in Strasbourg for the Christmas markets. The restaurant is very small, only about 24 seats so don't forget to make a... More

If you want to experience Strasbourg at its local best, come here. The food is perfect from starter to desert. Try the onion soup and some main meat course with spaetzle or roasted potatoes. But the best part is the owner who is always on spot and brings a special atmosphere to this tiny place. This is how a family... More

This little restaurant in the center of the city was the ideal place for our dinner. The restaurant is quite small but just big enough for a lovely typical dinner. The waitress was very nice. The food was excellent. Definitely recommend!!!
