We went for a mid-afternoon snack and had a bottle of pinot noir (25 euro), cup of French onion soup (8 euro), tarte flambe alsacienne with onions and bacon (8.50) and a bottle of water (6 euro). The tart was great as was the wine...our family recipe of French onion soup is much more flavorful than this one so we... More

When you dine in a place that's right in the centre of a major tourist area, you take the risk of being ripped off for price and quality and dealing with cliches. This was not the case for me when I popped in for a light lunch. I dined outside (it had recently rained heavily, but my table/seat was not... More

We came to dine here on recommendation of our airbnb host. I think several tourists dine here too. The place doesn't accept reservation. Just walk in and see if there's empty tables. Tables are quite close to one another though. We really enjoyed the food. We had our first choucroute here! It's huge! French onion soup is very tasty too!

In the cold gray winter day in Strasbourg, this restaurant offers warmth and romantic for a nice stop for lunch.

Very cute decoration right at the center but really awful food -the beef filet was fried not grilled and the chicken too rough- and the worst service I ever experienced. Rude, impolite, not speaking English at all , making you feel unwanted and that you disturb them. Most of the clients were Chinese tourists. Not recommended at all.

Welcome arrival and pleasant staff. We chose this restaurant after the multiple positives reviews on TripAdvisor. Nevertheless, we were very disappointed about the numerous mistakes.... we ordered one salad two were served, we ordered a child meal (burger) and we got two sausages, the Civet de Biche was so dry and with barely no taste, we waited forever for our... We recently found this quaint restaurant while visiting the Cathedral in Strasbourg. From the outside, you do not get a full sense of the ambiance that awaits within this old house. Once inside, you will be seated on one of the 3 floors in this wonderful restaurant. Space for seating is limited, and given it is less than a block... More

Good food. Good serve. The waiter is enthusiastic and he help us ordering food and drinks. We give him a picture and he help us order the food which is not written down in the menu. Wonderful!

The ordinary design of this restaurant makes you feel to go in as it looks like something cosy, local and typical "Elsass". The staff were really friendly and the amount of food were so large that we couldn't eat at all though we were super-hungry. The waiter asked me twice to order as he had forgotten that I was the...
