The chef welcomes most of her customers with kisses which is superficial and exagerated. Beside that food and service are very good. However, the dish and dessert are quite expensive. Cheers!
I had a nice dinner while on business travel to Strasbourg after a very long day. The restaurant atmosphere was a nice French local type of restaurant accompanied with very nice service. Despite my shortcomings in French language and the slightly limited English of the people in the restaurant, ordering and service worked really well (menus obviously were only in... More
I've been remiss and not done any reviews for a month or so here goes with a positive one! It's Christmas and we are staying in Strasbourg - this restaurant has strong reviews so we booked it twice (been in once so far). Anyway, so far it's a yes yes yes! Busy as described by others, it's ever so slightly... More
First night in Strasbourg and so glad we looked at reviews prior to travelling and booked this restaurant. A real find. Warm friendly owner and staff. The food was great, the atmosphere was vibrant with everyone chatting and enjoying the food and wine. We were a group of six and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Although the restaurant was very... More
We tried pizza with cheese, this one is fantastic, cheese melts in mouth and very rich. We also took the alsacien special, it was a big portion, sausages, pork belly, pork knuckle and pork, taste very good.

While we were here in December having lunch on a Monday afternoon, there were many groups of friends celebrating the season. It is about a 10 minute walk from Cathedral. We arrived at noon on a Monday, and were very lucky to get one of the two... More
We were visiting Strasbourg (six of us) for a weekend at the Christmas markets, and it suddenly occurred to me that since our train would only be arriving at 7pm on the Friday evening on one of the busiest weekends of the year it might be advisable to book a meal somewhere near to our hotel! So I got on... More
Very nice Alsacean lunch spot. Varied dishes sure to please almost everyone, and unlike many Alsacean places they don't rely only on cream and cheese to make the food taste good! Make sure you call ahead at least the day before to get a seat!
