Very nice meal for a very reasonable price. Uby as aperitif, foie gras a bit dry, daube canard very nourishing and cheese very much ok. And a nice Pessac-Leognan. Nothing spectacular, but good value for money.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our landlady as somewhere for good home cooking in the French style. It doesn't disappoint. Friendly attentive staff, very good food and a warm atmosphere. I was slightly concerned by the poor review mentioning flies and yes we did see a couple: two tiny fruit flies that lingered around the wine bottle for... More

Such wonderful atmosphere, delicious duck confit and cassoulette! Bread awesome! Definitely not eating breakfast tomorrow about this feast! Our waitresses were lovely, cheerful and attentive.

This is a restaurant on the main Rue St Remi. Looks very traditional with the rustic appearance and layout. The service was good, we were only two of us but placed on a long table, separated by two large vases, so still quite private for our dinner. It's bistro style food, well presented and served with politeness. The menu is... More

The worst experience of my life!!!! Long story short we couldn't finish our quite expensive dinner menu because we were surrounded by flies. When we approached the very rude waiter to make him understand that with 50 flies hovering over our heads and plates it was imposible to eat, his response was that he couldn't do anything about it. We... More

We enjoyed an excellent dinner with some very good local wine. Fantastic atmosphere in this quirky bistro with many small artefacts and curios decorating the walls. Definitely worth a return visit when next in Bordeaux.

Came here for lunch. Just called in. They did ask if we had a reservation (which we didn't) and that didn't seem to be a problem! We had the 'fixed price' 3 course lunch which I thought was very reasonable with several good choices. My choices were bruschetta, pork, and pear with chocolate. All good. Plenty of great tasting food.... More
