We'd been to the Musée d'Aquitaine and were walking back towards the town with no idea of where to eat lunch. Le Bistro du Musée faces the cathedral and has outdoor seating. It was a lovely sunny February day but decided to eat inside. We chose to have the menu of the day at €15.10 each. Very happy we did!... More

We had dinner at Le Bistro du Musee in February 2017. It´s a nice place, just in front of the catedral. The food was good and it is not too expensive.

I really like this restaurant. It's calm and relaxed and the locals look like they love it. We had three courses of delightful French food topped by the desserts which were amazing. Very happy to recommend this great little bistro

We are walking around the city & its monuments, looking for a France café for a short break. Outside the cathedral is this bistro, at the corner, really cozy place. It was unexpected that only france people were eating there, so we were sure that will be a good choice. We ordered coffee & tarte, which was delicious (around 7,5... More

This bistro was literally on the corner of where we were staying and was the first meal of our stay and it was fabulous! Just what we wanted - typically French food, delicious, understated service and fabulous wine! We will be back before we depart! Cannot recommend enough - delicious! MERCI!

We booked a table and put a note that we'd have a toddler with us but they did not provide an extra seat, he sat on our lap. Fortunately he behaved. I ordered the Rump steak medium it came out closer to rare, and my wife ordered a steak medium well that came out closer to rare as well. Still... More

Nice bistro based on a great area, with a beautiful view. The place is well furnished and the service was fast, as the staff is polite and helpful, especially with the tourists. The food was simple but tasting and the prices are quite high for a bistro but the products are good.

Its not on the crowded tourist lunch trail but well worth a stop for lunch when visiting Bordeaux's 11th Century Cathedral and/or the Gothic Pey Berland Bell Tower! With indoor and outdoor seating available, enjoy a delicious lunch with a wonderful view of St Andrew's Cathedral. Highly recommended.
