It is located in a very cozy square. Positive points for this bistro are that it is open until late & that waitress was very kind and helpful. Moreover, our dinner served quickly & wine was tasteful. Negative points are the smell of fried potatoes coming from the kitchen, non English menu, non English speaking personnel, too expensive, no something... More

Located in a pleasant square with trees and a breeze in the centre of historic Bordeaux, that’s where the positives end for this restaurant. The service was slow and disinterested. I wasn’t able to tell who was in charge or even who our waiter was – not even when we had to approach the cashier for our change (which was... More

Went for dinner. The service here was chaotic, disorganised and slow. We had three or four different people serve us and on two occasions there was a mix up of what we ordered and where our meals were at. The entrees were not too bad and came out in a reasonable time. The mains however were the worst meal we... More

All four of us had a great lunch here. We chose the 23 euro menu. the cafe is quite close to the Teatre. We chose the bavette beef au point which was perfectly cooked, very tender and well flavoured. Service was prompt and helpful. There was good atmosphere - we ate outside in pleasant warm weather. We would definitely return.

Everything takes forever. Not sure why i did not read tripadvisor comments before. Terrasse is nice on a square under trees but what a SLOW service. 1 hour to get a course. Food is rather basic and not expensive but not worth the wait.

We had a very pleasant evening here, the food was very good and the staff were excellent, very attentive and spoke brilliant English. The pate was a lovely starter and one of the best I've tasted.

Situated in lively square. Reasonable choice of local foods. All started well, but service became the problem. Friendly, but poorly trained staff, who were confused about who was responsible for what. End result was constantly having to remind different servers to bring drinks or in fact the main courses. We did not stay for desert or coffee. Meal took forever.... More

This restaurant can be very busy at lunchtime but we were lucky enough to get a table. If you're after frogs legs or snails you can get them here. My fish of the day, which I'm sure was mullet, was somewhat overdone but I enjoyed my snails and a lovely coffee. Lunch for two with a couple of glasses of... More

We were in Bordeaux for a day trip and choosing a restaurant for dinner isn't easy as there are so many. This cafe has the advantage of being in great lively square. We ordered the entrecôte and some pork minion. The meat was decent but not more, the pepper sauce rather bland but the French fries great. The wine by... More

Really nice and cheap "menu du jour" for 15€. One of the rare restaurant where in you can eat outside on a place and where the menu is affordable. We had a nice meal there!
