This brasserie serves traditional regional dishes in a relaxed and historic environment. Situated in the middle of St. Malo's historic city. We had marvelous fish and lobster dishes acompanied with a good bottle of french wine and ended with a nice dessert. Allthis for an affordible price.

Was directed to the Brasserie as a place to stay when my hotel overbooked. They graciously accommodated us, offering us two rooms late in the day of booking. (I will be forever thankful!). Comfortable night, though the quarters were a bit tight. Ate at the bar and had a very tasty meal and a couple of beers. Breakfast was included... More

Not our first choice but a table was available on a busy Saturday evening. The restaurant was almost empty and we were ushered into a room at the back, in what can only be described as an old fashioned high ceiling room, but impeccably decorated. It was the menu that had interested us....a good set 4 course for €41. The... More

My wife and I dined here last Friday and had the set menu - every dish was superb. Surprised its only # 41 in Saint-Malo as the food here really was first class. We almost missed out as we walked past it earlier and the fact it was empty put us off. An hour later and having walked past dozens... More

St Malo is full of fantastic places to eat but make sure you make time for this one. We came here for dinner on the last night of our stay and were so glad we did. Dining from the set menu for €31 (4 courses), I had scallops to start, beef fillet for my main and creme brulee for dessert... More

This is a traditional French restaurant, popular with the locals. My husband and I both had Muscles Marinara, and they were very good. I also had a Salad with a variety of crudities. The food was fine, and the ambiance (with the large armoire in the centre of the room) well worth experiencing. The service was not up to par;... More

We chose to have the set menu on our last evening as we had already had a large lunch. The food was excellent and was great value and the wine - 'Saumur Champigny' - one of the best in this region. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. All other people in this restaurant were french and they were... More

This was our first evening meal in 30, and looking back, one of the best. Saucisse starter was large and tasty, Good tart, very good chicken, ok wine selection. Good service.

My boyfriend and I had done our research and heard only good things about this restaurant, even our B&B owner recommended it. However, it was a little disappointing. I had the scallop gratin starter which was totally delicious! However, I then had the beef which was extremely chewy and very average. I then had apple tart which was very underwhelming.... More
