Today was my third visit to this restaurant. I had been delighted by the first one about 2 months ago. On the second one, or server was erratic at best. And today's Supreme de volaille was bland and cold. not to mention the fact that we had to wait a long time.

This bistro knows its food and also its wine. The empty bottles displayed throughout the interior decor are from the absolute creme de ala creme of the Burgundian wine scene. We ordered their burger with Burgundian Epoisse cheese and it was fantastic. Frankly, it was a nice respite from all the Lyonnais and Burgundian dishes that we'd eaten elsewhere. The... More

Great food and wine, really enjoyed the experience. The sardines were delicious followed by the pork. I had the veal followed by the mixed sordets. Yummy!!!

Managed to get a table on a busy night when France were playing football. Right on the street around the market so if you sit outside as we did, very close to traffic. Good menu. My husband when for a reasonably priced fixed menu and had the poached eggs to start and then snail risotto. He enjoyed both. I had... More

The good restaurants in Dijon are booked fully, many others that are not seem just tourist rip offs. This one was recommended but the lunch formula was uninspiring. How many beef bourguignons are needed? We settled for the burger. This was tasteless (apart from the gloops of cheesy stuff) and tepid and dry. Chips were ok but greasy. Service was... More

This restaurant opposite the des Halles market was recommend on TA and we were not disappointed. Entree of poached eggs in red wine sauce and the marrow bone was excellent. We had a mains of prawn risotto (the best risotto my husband has ever had) and I had the white fish with veg and hommus - this was great and... More

We had a recommendation from our host to have dinner there and what can I say, it was excellent food. We had the menu of the day, starter, main course and dessert for the price of 25 EUR. As starter I can recommend the "Oeufs meurette" and the "Boeuf Bourginon" and as dessert the cheese. Well, that meal was fantastic,... More

Tip: in Dijon always make reservations if you want to eat in a specific restaurant. We did not have a reservation in advance and could not get a table at the restaurant we wanted. We walked around and this was the only restaurant that we were able to sit. So we were grateful that we could eat.! The place is... More

I took one-day tour in Dijon. When I visited the city following the owl signs on the ground ,I stopped at Le Bistrot and met two french ladies who finished their lunch and just got out of the restaurant.I first noticed that there were a lot of people eating at this restaurant and then I asked them about it.
