Had the set menu and for what we paid was fine. Unfortunately the waiter was unfriendly, abrupt and wasn't aware of his customers needs. Must be plenty of other restaurants where you are welcomed with a smile, it's free!

The only thing positive about this place is the location, which is probably the only thing that keeps this restaurant going. The food was terrible but the service was much worse. The waiter was rude to the point of making faces and when informing him...More

We went there for dinner. Chose 18 EUR menu. Mine was chicken liver salad, steak with fries and apple tart. My friend's was goat cheese salad, vegetarian lasagna and coconut flan. The only tasty thing among these was my liver salad. Presentation on goat cheese...More

Avoid the place! Service is poor and food is already processed. Such a shame for the gastronomy to call this place "a restaurant". Total waste of money. There are much better places in the area for the same cost and cooked on the spot.

Took a chance, but it was a mistake. Food was edible, just about, wine tasteless; service ok. Toilets completely inaccessible for anyone without mountaineering experience.

We chose the place without checking the ratings--sometimes you discover a gem otherwise you may find a turd. Our luck ran out. Although there were a lot of people eating there, they probably were unwitting tourists such as ourselves. I had the fish of the...More

After reading the negative reviews we were sceptical, however we had a good experience, albeit we were there before it opened. Gerard made us feel welcome and everything from then was great. We opted for the menu where my wife had the steak, which other...More

We weren't going to eat here because of reviews but it was the only place we could find that served escargot. We had a very good experience. The waiters were friendly, wine cold and escargot fabulous. Right we're all the action is in the old...More

We ate here on our first night in Tours and ordered from the fixed price menu. We ate outside and thought the initial welcome was a bit brusque but put that down to being busy. We enjoyed the food we chose but found the service...More
