We were hungry and ready for a break from touring and shopping. The food was delicious, especially the French Onion Soup! Although she couldn't speak much English, our server went out of her way to help us understand the menu/specials. Prices were reasonable.

Epernay, nice place for its champagne , church , champagne's avenue ... But you can also enjoy the best Hachis Parmentier with duck. This one was the best we have ever taste. Enjoy the tradition !

Dropped in for lunch and we were given a warm welcome. We were able to change dishes from the reasonably priced set menu without any difficulty. Advice on some champagne houses to visit was very useful and appreciated. A typically good French restaurant doing well what it sets out to do.

Pretty decent fare, nothing fancy, but nothing fancy required. Good atmosphere and a decent bottle of champagne to boot.

Late arrival after trips on countryside, therefore we did not have a specific appointment for this night. And because it was not raining in comparison to previous night, we decide to walk through town and see which one places would be wise to check for food. And were right on our observations, restaurants are mainly packed starting from 1900 to... More

This location was located close to the train station and the cathedral. On a busy street it was a fun place to visit. The food was "ok" and priced reasonably. Staff was pleasant.

During an overnight stay in Epernay we hired a taxi and asked the driver to take us to a good middle-range restaurant, and with no hesitation she took us to le Chapon Fin. We were warmly welcomed and offered a menu of authentic French dishes. We both opted for Coq au Vin, and we were not disappointed - generous portions... More

Oh dear, this was a disappointing meal at the end of a nice weekend around Epernay. Let's start with the positives. The location is very central and the restaurant size is not too large or small. It is divided in two, with what appears to be an older style bistro and a more modern decor on the other side. We... More

very central location. Professional and competent service, pleasant if typical brasserie atmosphere, quick and efficient. the starters were really good - can highly recommend the creme brulee version of fois gras and the chicken liver. meat was ok-ish. excellent salads. we did not like the house wine and they did not charge for it, something quite remarkable these days. desserts... A nicely priced restaurant with a good variety on the menu. The two- & three-course lunch specials are great value. The Coq au Vin was delicious, although a little on the salty side. Big portions! Friendly staff.
