This traditional restaurant offers traditional foods from Alsace, but also good seafoods. Service is friendly and pretty quick. Quality is above medium. Price is the same. Advantage of this restaurant is close location from the railways station and above average environment

We chose this as it was next door to our hotel and we were tired after a long day. The boys chose the lambs kidney with potato and us girls chose the scallops. The food tasted good but charging 26.90 euros for 4 scallops is way over the odds! The scallops were served on a bed of cabbage - not... More

Large and dynamic place to enjoy Alsace foods. Flammenkuche and Choucroute are well prepared and in large quantities. Staff is doing his job correctly. Atmosphere in the restaurant is of Brasserie type. Good choice.

We dropped into what appears to be a welcoming restaurant/ bar . Clearly nobody gives a second look and the staff could barely be bothered to even acknowledge our presence and it took for ever to be served... and then most grudgingly despite placing our order in French several times. A female waitress said to her colleague the she 'couldn't... More

Well prepared ingredients, good service and good choice of traditional dishes. Good quality wines though somewhat limited choice. A good traditional brasserie well worth a visit.

Old School service and a traditional North Eastern French menu. A great wine list and the House carafe of red is a light very slightly chilled Pinot Noir, very nice.

I have already read this comment about their choucroute and I can confirm that they have a problem with the right level of heat for their dishes. Serving them on hot plates is not enough. A choucroute coming out of the kitchen should be smoking hot ! Apart from this, we had the special Choucroute Paysanne with all the trims... More

A very late dinner with very good food and an excellent house red. Typical Bistro fare: Steak (Tartar and otherwise) frites, salads... etc. The fries are extraordinare! Service prompt and efficient.

This is the place to go if you want to spoil yourself. I began with the tasty fammenkuchen, pork fillet with tagliatelle was perfect and not too filling then Alsace sorbet. Although the menu is not vast the dishes are well cooked and service is swift.

We were looking for a place for lunch in Gare de L'Est, and happened on La Strasbourgeoise which is right opposite the huge rail station. It was clean and had a nice cheerful feel to it - a bit different to most of the eateries in that vicinity. This is an Alsacienne style mid to higher priced restaurant which serves... More
