So delicious and such a find! The escargot is delicious and ambiance is charming! It’s small like most little bistros in the area which lends itself to intimate conversations with strangers and friendships forged.

Food and service was excellent. Wine was lovely. Price was on par with what you'd expect for this kind of place in Paris. Tried escargot for the first time. Loved it. Their duck confit was beautiful and the dark chocolate moose was perfection.

This is a typical french bistro which served a very good meal that I thought was quite reasonablely priced. Unfortunately there are many bistros in France which are just as good. Would I come back , certainly if I were in the neighborhood yes but...it is not a destinationMore

food and service were great, traditional french cooking but on the expensive side but this is pretty typical for paris. Why is wine so expensive in paris, it just seems like crazy prices. A nice place fairly popular I would go back.

Quaint Parisian bistro in a very cool section of St. Germane. Authentic French cuisine at a decent price. Highly recommend for dinner. Went with 2 adult daughters. I probably would not bring children to this establishment. Takes reservations which I recommend as the place is...small.More

This bistro, is in the middle of one of the most nicest place to be in Paris at night. Surrounded by bars, old buildings, with a cheerful atmosphere. The place is tiny, if you are more than 2, it is better to call for a...reservation. Inside, the place is charming, with its walls made of stones from another century and its exposed beam. All painted in white and peacock blue. You will appreciate the food. So tasty and fresh. I enjoyed the carpaccio of old tomatoes, burrata and basil followed by a crusty sea bream fillet perfectly cooked. The wine is good. The staff is very welcoming. The only inconvenience for those who want privacy,is the proximity of the tables. We had a really great time.More

A must visit if you are in the area. Perfect people (staff and fellow customers), perfect decor and perfect food. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our lunch experience here was. The waitress was wonderfully friendly and worked the small little restaurant like she...was entertaining us all in her own home. Both the sea bream and the steak frites were perfectly cooked and packed full of flavour. Finally the brioche french toast with apricots and ice cream as well as there apple & apricot crumble are worth a return visit for in of themselves. For certain the best meal we enjoyed in Paris at a ridiculously good price given the quality and atmosphere.More

We were really looking for a nice French restaurant for the evening after a hard days work and we choose this restaurant because of the many good evaluations. For one it is really nicely located and it has a certain charme when tables are moved...outside to enjoy a warm late summer evening. Staff was quite busy but also polite, trying to make you feel very welcome. But unfortunately this is where the nice things end. In our opinion the food was quite poor and it was quite expensive, probably because of the inner city location. The snails we ordered for starters were a bit chewy and seasoning was missing. For mains we had salmon tartar which was quite oily and was also missing seasoning. And for my friends taste it was quite fishy/old. Coming from Kyosho she certainly has some expertise regarding fish. I was having a cote de boeuf. It turned out to be a long ripped piece of meat certainly looking more like road kill than a nice steak. In parts it had a quite strong taste or smelly as my friend would call it. Overall it was quite a let down especially as we paid close to 70 Euros including a bottle of water and 1 glass of wine.More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who lived in Paris. It is somewhat off the beaten track. There was a mix up with our reservations, as we made 2, one for a table of 8 and another for a table of 7 and they...thought that we had just updated the reservation. When we got there, we weren’t sure if they would be able to accommodate us, but they went out of their way. We only waited a short time and were able to seat us all. The food and wine was excellent and the owner/manager made sure that we had everything that we needed. At the end of the evening, the bill was very reasonable, particularly with the amount of wine that we had. We would highly recommend this restaurant.More
