When in Paris you have many choices for excellent restaurants, and even more for good ones. The Cafe du Commerce is a good choice for authentic Paris-style dinner, at reasonable prices.

The place opened in 1821, and has been running every since, mostly for people living in the neighborhood in the 15th arrondisment. French cuisine, excellent dishes and nice place, with a terrace on first floor, makes it cozy and comfortable, for French cuisine lovers. Very good service and food.

Three floor classic french restaurant. The service wad excellent and the food was good. The vegetarian options are very little and were not more than OK.

Just straddling the 7th and 15th arr. very near the Eiffel Tower. 3 story food Mecca. Open spaces and private rooms. Steak frites type of bistro. Once a worker haven for filling food on the edge of the city, Now a family destination for the Sunday meal. Hectic, crowded but so fun and fairly good fare. All traditional offerings, nothing... Food was outstanding and service attentive. This is NOT a tourist restaurant at all! Neighborhood around the restaurant is truly for locals. Fabulous gem with a long history of serving great food. Generations of people come here!

This was my fifth visit over the last 3 years and have always raved about how good the food is here. Sadly this time my meal was lacking in flavour, I ordered a starter of aubergine and goats cheese which was little more than a ramekin of mush followed by the lamb shank with dauphinois potatoes. The lamb all be... More

I visited Le Cafe last night with my wife. We'd spotted it on the internet and it seemed to have received mainly good reviews. We had quite some difficulty contacting the restaurant to book (which we felt sure we had to) but on the umpteenth time of asking I got through and booked a table on a Friday night. It's... More

Le Café du Commerce has a Bistrot style, and the tables are on 3 floor, around a beautiful inner courtyard. I love this atmosphere. The food is excellent, with a menu focused on beef.

We were taken there by a Parisian couple to experience a taste of Paris. We were on the 3 level on the inside railing so could look down. The food selection was great. The french classics are well represented. The staff were very welcoming

Chanced upon this place and decided to go for lunch. It's a little hidden, from the outside you would only see a big rack where they are stacking seafood. Don't be fooled by the small shopfront. Once you walk in deeper, then you will see they are spanned across 3 floors. Many local Parisians here. It does get a tad... More
