We are at this restaurant twice while we were in Paris. It was recommended to us by the manager of our hotel. I agree that the waiter pointed out that the service charge was not included in the bill, so, being foreigners, we left an...More

The location was fine, which seemingly justified the high prices for standard fare. However, as noted by other reviewers here, the place is a rip-off. The table next to us, which was occupied by two persons who were French speaking person, received a 51 euro...More

This used to be a gem; it must have changed hands over the past few years because nothing was good when we visited a few weeks ago. As other reviewers have pointed out, our server also claimed that service was not included in the bill....More

The smoked salmon was nice, the steak good and perfecly rear as I wanted it. Great fries. The millefeuille was OK too. My friend had bone marrow and needed to wait very long and ask twice before getting a second basket of bread. I ordered...More

This restaurant has used to be one of our favourites. Cosy with very good food. But this time we met a waiter saying that service was not included in the bill. That is not acceptable in France, in my view. I felt like he was...More

We ended up here because the place up the street was full. Lovely patio and good service but the glossy, formulaic menu hinted at what was to come. My appetizer was lukewarm - still not sure if it was supposed to be. My lamb was...More

We had dinner with friends on Saturday evening and were very disappointed. Service was mediocre and steak was over cooked. Had previously had great experience here, but will not come again.

We happened upon this charming restaurant on a quiet square on our last trip to Paris. We enjoyed wonderful wine and food with friendly service. I highly recommend.

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,

Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

I found the proprietor responsive and professional. The restaurant is very small, maybe 20 diners and worth hanging in. It is quite likely that the area was affected by the recent flooding.
