I stayed close to Anvers Metro station for a week and I have been to this place 3 times. Food was awesome and staff was very friendly. My personal favourite is Chicken Korma and Chai.

We went there as a couple to celebrate my Birthday and our experience was sadly horrific. The server was rude, the food was cold and bland, and the staff in general was very non-professional. A total waste of money. Will NOT recommend!

We spent a nice evening at Samrana. The service war professional and friendly. The food was amazing, perfectly cooked. One of the best indian restaurants in Paris. I can absolutely recommend the restaurant.

The staff was extremely rude and service was terribly slow. The food was okay and too expensive for the quality they were offering.

We happened to stumble on this place when we were walking through Montserrat. The fixed menu options for lunch was very reasonable. The presentation and the taste of the food was excellent. I have to honestly say it is one of the best indian food restaurants I've ever been to! Our waiter was very charming, and we enjoyed chatting with... More

Great service and attitudes, even though we caught them during their lunch break. Authentic dishes in a romantic white table cloth setting. Spent less than 20€ on a Full meal with drink and desert. Everyone in our party had a uniquely tasty dish. Can't wait to go back! Namaste

Vindaloo lamb was good and not too spicy. Waiter was very kind. Garlic naan was good. Restaurant was quite busy at 8pm. My daughter just had rice, but she was happy.

We had the Chicken Tikka Masala. It was good but different than any I had before so keep that in mind. I liked it and the naan and service was great. Only problem was that there were some bugs and that the rice doesn't come with the food and is a little overpriced.

We reserved a table, walked in, and were given a table, but I spotted a black speck, looked closer, and it was a dead fruit fly on the tablecloth. We asked for our table to be changed, we inspected it once again, and noticed a black speck on the cloth napkin. We left.

We were not particularly looking for Indo-Pakistanian food, but we were rather tired of walking the hills of Montmartre. So, we stepped into that restaurant which was empty after the lunch hour rush. We ordered a chich-kebad and samosa as hors d'oeuvre, plus a chicken curry and a vegetarian curry as entrees. The taste was fine although rather bland, so... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
