Difficult to imagine the that the restaurant is still open under the massive scaffolding. The service is efficient and friendly, food wise nothing exceptional I would say average, wine by the glass is to expensive so you only drink one .

Louvre / Palais-Royal
From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal,
this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches
along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front
of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is
lined with the world’s best jewelers and their
glittering window displays. Every other establishment
has someone to open the door for you or park your car.
You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops

One more recommendation, I don't know where you're staying at, but there is a roof top bar called "Bar la Vue" which is on the 34th floor of the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile hotel. If you can, go there at night to see the city... More

A bright and lively brasserie with pale yellow walls and dark wood with gold fittings, Brasserie du Louvre has a typical Parisian atmosphere. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served daily. Traditional French cuisine with seasonal variations and a menu that changes monthly is created by Executive Chef Mehdi Corthier. The a la carte menu features fresh seafood and regional specialities. During the summertime the terrace is filled with flowers and it is possible to sit and enjoy the view from the Place de Palais Royal across to the Comédie Française and the Louvre Museum.
