We stopped here whilst meandering through the district on a beautiful sunny Saturday. What a delightful restauranr. It is quite small and seemed full of locals or for dejeuner. My husband and I both had the menu, it was gorgeous, beautifully presented ams wonderfully tasty. Very reasonably priced too.

If you are looking for an affordable place to enjoy French cuisine, this is definitely the place to be.. Great service, the waitress couldn't speak much English, but tired really hard to explain the menu to my Wife and I..the meal was simply amazing and the deserts are a must have.. Overall, a wonderful experience and a great bang for... More

Popped in by chance as menu looked good. Welcomed and seated and a good menu with interesting specials. The food was really good - freshly made and very well prepared and presented. If in the area don't walk past.

We had a table right in front of the window, so didn't so much benefit from the decor... The welcome and the service was friendly and professional. The menu is not huge and that's always better in my opinion, still I had a hard time choosing because a lot of the options were very tempting. In the end, when all's... More

We were 3 couples , sitting in the back room , I guess more pleasant and more quiet than near the door. Decoration simple but pleasant. Good service. I took the foie gras , which could havge been good but far too salted , then the scallops , excellent then the millefeuille which was good , a bit too creamy... More

Excellent service atmosphere. I wanted something omitted from a dish as I do not eat meat or seafood and this was prepared especially and was truly delicious. Great wine list and lovely staff.

Not many tourists find their way to this part of Paris (the 17th, near Parc Monceau; on the TripAdvisor website “more restaurant details” describes another restaurant in the 5th), but if you want to experience truly excellent food at what, for Paris, are relatively modest prices (107 euros for the two of us with a half bottle of wine) in... Every part of our meal was a delightful experience. Appetizer: Liver sausages accompanied by small salad with pine nuts and a honey (but not sweet) dressing. Scrambled eggs with truffles and spices. This is unlike you have made at home, they were cooked but just. Yumm. Main: Sea break with light truffle topping and served on a bed of white... More

During my second trip to Paris, my daughter and I were so tired we just went to this lettle resteraunt near our hotel. It is a small intimate resteraunt. Not the most friendly place in Paris. The food presentation was excellent as was the wine, however we were not impressed with the food. Each item on the plate had exactly... More

Thanks to the brilliant front of house lady at the Hotel 5, my fiance and I paid a visit to Tourbillon on our trip to Paris last month. We wanted something French, yet inexpensive and this is exactly what we got. The restaurant is small, so I'm glad that we booked. We opted for the set price menu, which was... More

Description
Mere moments from the beautiful Parc Monceau in the 17eme is the superb Le Tourbillon, opened in late 2008 but already a hit. The much mentioned interior is pure class with a pure monochrome, timeless look, just right for romantic dinners and family celebrations alike, not to mention business lunches. Scrolled back chairs in gleaming gold sit opposite studded black banquettes, bold artworks hang above carefully laid tables. Created purely with excellent French cuisine at affordable prices in mind, the atmosphere might be expensive but the menu is a surprise to any pocket. Run by formidable team Rebecca, on the floor, and Cedric in the kitchen, expect perfection every step of the way.
