Well we decide to eat there because was late in Paris and we need to eat ...but if I know I will pass. The concept is like sushi boat but no water , the food is just the same as cheap supermarket, nothing close to Japanese food ! And expensive too . Wrong restaurant with the same junky food. Never... Very nice place, where an amazing train to pick something you like without order it... Every dishes are made in front of you... Does not matter if the dishes on train are not your choice, you can order from card also. Sometime they are some special dishes also...

Out of all the matsuri places in Paris, it is somewhere in the middle, The sushi is fresh, but it is boring and bland. I would not recommend this for sushi lovers

This is a new way of sushi eating for me, the dishes pass in front you in a rotative belt! You take the plate and you pay according to their color. Nice quality of the food and very good attention: fast and effective for a good price.

Decided to try even though there are a lot of negative comments about the level of sushi. At the end of the day it is what it is. That is a "fast food" version of sushi BUT I will say that it does have good sushi if you look at the freshness. The sashimi was very fresh and the tempura... More

Matsuri is a chain of "Kaiten sushi" (conveyor belt sushi) with several outlets in Paris. This review refers to the one in Avenue Victor Hugo, which is somewhat crowded on weekends. It is essentially a quick lunch place for students and cheap eats. Yes, the service matches its sushi belt reputation to be fast. Not many variety for those who know their sushi well.

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
