All 5 of us agreed that this was a favorite meal of our 8 day trip! We made a reservation the morning of and I'm super glad we did as they were turning people away all night because they were full. Everything we ate was really really good. The scallops and filet were both delicious. They had a large wine... More

The receptionist at our hotel recommend the 7eme vin and I'm truly grateful to her. The decor of the restaurant is typically French a bit small but it sets the ambiance. The food and wine menu is on black boards spread around the place. I like the fact that you can order the house wine per glass 250ml,500 ml or... More

The wine and service were good, but we were a little disappointed in the food at this price. We had asked for lamb medium -cooked but this was raw and tough on the inside (including a raw garlic clove). The other food was good but not exceptional.

This small restaurant offered simple, traditional food. My girlfriend and I walked in on a chilly early Spring evening, and received a warm welcome. The house Bordeaux was a smooth even bodied wine that was better than some of the wines I had at other expensive restaurants. For dinner, I ordered a traditional chicken dish in a light sauce, with... More

Made reservations on TripAdvisor and when we arrived as a party 6 (including 2 kids) we were turned away stating that they couldn't accommodate us. They did receive the confirmation and we did as well via email so we thought we were good to go. About an hour after we received the confirmation email we did receive another stating they... More

Just happened upon the restaurant. We loved the food and atmosphere. I had the scallops, which were delicious. My sister ordered the beef bourguignon and said it was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

We booked for 12, then 18, then ended up being 20 people for dinner. They were extremely accommodating to our group despite the complicated ordering process and last minute additions. Food was excellent, with no disappointments anywhere. The scallop appetizers in particular stood out. A great cozy place, definitely recommended in the neighbourhood.

We had a group of 6 and were easily accommodated and attentively served throughout the evening. Good wine selection, very appealing presentation and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal (including one gluten-free only guest). Good-humoured and engaging staff, who even added a complimentary digestif following the meal. Very conveniently located near the Ecole Militaire, making it an easy walk from most... More

Come here for traditional French cuisine. No frills, helpful wait staff and great tastes! Make reservations too as the restaurant fills up really fast with tons of local coming in. And it's a really small restaurant. I've had the escargots, Foie Gras pate and beef filler with foie gras sauce. All tasted really nice, only setback was the doneness for... More
