A Parisian told me about this restaurant and it was great. It is in a wonderful neighborhood but this place is not about the decor...it is all about the food which was fabulous, the place was packed, Our waiter was wonderful and spoke perfect english despite the fact that I think we might have been the only tourists there. This... More

Really enjoyed this lovely bistro close to my hotel and the Eiffel Tower. The servers were super friendly. I enjoyed a lovely pasta dish and a half bottle of wine. It was perfect for eating alfresco.

Like so many others, I stumbled past here following a wander around the Eiffel Tower, made a note to follow up and looked up the TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed! I brought my Mother here and we had a fantastic time; a great simple menu and superb atmosphere. We had the fish and chips, steak then chocolat mousse and... More

Having read about this place on trip advisor, and our hotel being in the neighborhood, we decided to walk over for what we thought was a late-ish dinner (8pm). The place was empty, so we had a perfect window/corner table all to ourselves. Then, people started pouring in - seemed like mostly locals - and by the time we left... More

Stumbled across this restaurant after visiting the Eiffel Tower and what a find. It was the best meal we had while in Paris. The restaurant is unassuming from the outside but traditional and stylish once inside. Filled with locals and traditional food packed with flavour!

If you want a reminder of France before nouvelle cuisine, fusion etc, this is it. Tucked away in a small street in the Rive Droite near Trocadero and Tour Eiffel. Simple decor. Ask to be seated away from the door because there is a constant stream of people coming and going. The volume goes up and down, never intolerable and... More

Really nice bistrot with traditional French dishes. We arrive here as we were walking around and we really made good choice. Service is fantastic, the waitress recommended us very nicely. We can recommend meat and wine poached eggs, chocolate mousse for dessert is a must if you like it. Price is around 30€ each with red wine.

My daughter and I found this typical French Bistro by chance, but it was a great find! It's down a side street, close to the Eiffel Tower (the other side of the river). The décor is cosy and typically French. Staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit, offering to adapt dishes to suit. The food was delicious and... More

We followed this with Chocolate Mousse and 'Mille Fleurs'. All the dishes were good; but the menu is a bit limited. he had small carafe of the Brouilly which wa sinexpensive and... More

Just caught this place out the corner of my eye down a side street. Didn't look that special from the outside but once we were served the food we were blown away. The steak was probably the best I've had. Staff spoke a small amount of English but were very accommodating. Looked as though this place was very popular with... More

Les Marches, referenced by the historic culinary guide "Les Routiers", serves a traditional cuisine in an authentic and lively atmosphere. Its location, nearby the Palais de Tokyo and facing the Quai Branly Museum, makes it a perfect stop on your cultural route or for a memorable moment with family and friends.
Recently acquired by the Dumant brothers, owners of L'Auberge Bressane (Paris 7), the menu celebrates the great classics of French cuisine, made with quality ingredients: the Rib-Eye Steak with Bearnaise sauce, the Pike Quenelles and Nantua sauce, the Pepper Steak and the Coq au Vin. Served with homemade French Fries and accompanied by a glass of Burgundy from our selection, these dishes will remind you of the simple pleasures found in the Parisian cuisine.

This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
