We arrived at this restaurant and straight away you feel a really good vibe, it has a new guy who has transformed this restaurant and has an amazing team of staff. The food was delicious the oeuf mollet was just cooked to perfection on a...bed of a peppers which was so delicious, my husband had the asparagus which was just as good as my starter, the presentation was very enticing. Our main courses were the best we have tasted for a very long time, I had the cod which was so fresh and again perfectly cooked, my husband had the beef which just melted in your mouth. The desserts were also beautifully presented and are made on the premises, the coco mousse was so light and refreshing. The drinks and wine was very reasonably price and of a very high quality. The service was very good, all the team seemed happy in their work which helped to create a super ambiance. This is a restaurant definitely worth visiting, next time we are in Paris we definitely be dining here again and I wish the owner every success.More

We are looked for the perfect environment in Paris for our breakfast. We found it! You can order even a french baguette with butter and jam or bigger plate with ham and eggs and salad. You also get an orange juice and coffe, cocoa or...chocolate for your breakfast. The quality of these unfortunately not the number one, but the experience of the brunch on that pretty market street absolutely compensate for that. The service was really friendly.More

I loved this place. The employees were friendly, the seating was comfortable and the menu was wide ranging. It is on a lovely street to visit morning noon or night.

Last year on March, a friend of mine and I have visited this restaurant and we had a fantastic dinner with excellent service of a lovely lady. We have tried escargots and duck confit with a bottle of white wine which was recommended by a...young gentleman working (probably owner?) there. So, this was the highlight of our visit and exactly after one year coming to Paris, Le Mouffetard was the only place that I would like to dine again. But this year, it was a dissappointment. First off all, they say that they dont have a written English menu and demanded us to choose from the blackboard. Since blackboards are very common in Paris, we did not find this very odd (although we were given menus last year). When we asked for the wine menu, they brough a few bottles (not the written menu again) and demanded us to choose. We have showed the photo of our last years wine, they have never seen that wine. Then we asked if they only serve as bottles (maybe they have given us the written menu we could see the price and serving types since we can understand euros or mililitres without any French) but not glass, they say yes they serve as glass for 5 Euros. We have ordered 2 glasses and have gone exactly the same menu as last year, but the escargots were really dry with small amount of butter, and the way that the duck confit has been changed also. It was not bad, but it was the perfection last year. When we asked for the check, the wine was 5.40 instead of 5 Euros and when we asked about this they said a glass of wine is 5 Euros in the bar and 5.40 on table, but we were always sitting on the table when they say 5 Euros!! It is not much, but it makes you feel like you are being fooled since you are a tourist! Anyway, the overall experience this year made us fell like this place is not the same as it was before (maybe the owners have been changed) and not worth visiting anymore. So sorry about this :(More

A group of us artived here by chance having found a nearby restaurant closed. Most of us went for the formule which had a choice of two dishes for both courses. i had a very tasty lentil dish for an entrée and a wonderful slow-cooked...lamb stew for my main course. Bith were really delicious and those who had the other choices were delighted as well. The staff were friendly and chatty and we sat outside on a quiet side-road but could get the buzz from the constant flow ofnprople on rue de Mouffoutard. A second visit some nights later was less wonderful. Again we went for the formule but the entrées were a pleasant but ordinary tomatoe and mozzarella salad or a tin of sardines with a green salad. Nithing special either way. My main course was a lovely roast pork dish in a sauce I Really enjoyed that but a friend was very disappointed in her gristly steak. I finished with an excellent creme brulée. So on the first night it would be a five from all and on a second vidit a three. Best read the plats on the formule and go for it if they’re to your taste.More

We had here a small lunch at the terrace. Good price quality for the menu of the day. Service could be better.

Went for breakfast and got the standard breakfast advertised on each table - eggs, bacon, coffee, juice and bread. The food quality was very bad. The bread was dismal. There are so many great places to get amazing bread and pastries, cheese and fruit. No...reason to go into this place!More

We stumbled across this bistro around the corner from our apartment fresh from a long flight from Australia. We were impressed! Great service and generous serves, the burgers and fries kept our three children happy and my husband and I had the cassoulet with ham...and cheese with salad and it was absolutely delicious. We were so pleased to have such an amazing French dinner as soon as we arrived in Paris. There were many French eating whilst we were there too, which I take as a good sign. I would highly recommend Le Mouffetard to anyone visiting the area.More
