We had just attended a concert at St. Chapelle and we're looking for dinner along the walk back to the Metro Station. Came across several others we recognized from the concert going in and after looking at the menu posted at the door, we entered as well. Form the photos I took and the receipt, a beautiful and tasteful Poulet,... More

The brasserie is in a wonderful location - on a pedestrian mall within walking distance from Notre Dame and around the corner from Sainte Chapelle. The area is a great place for people watching. We were greeted and seated quickly with little fanfare. Our party of four was satisfied with our choices. I ordered the onion soup which was good... More

Popped in for lunch to get out of the rain. Lovely croque madam, salad and crepes. Probably a bit overpriced but near popular attractions and great people watching at glass windows. We had great service.

I ordered an extra plate, the waiter brought a VERY dirt one. Like if it's never been washed before. When I asked for a clean plate, he brought me a small one. That prety much says everything about the service in this place. Never again.

The food was very good and quite abundant. Our favorite part of this place were the people watching and the humorous waiter.

Waiters were friendly at first but then forgot to bring me my drink I ordered. I thought they'd keep it off the bill, I figured maybe they didn't understand correctly because I cannot speak French. But it was on the bill and argued to take it off which they eventually did. I was not impressed with the staff. It's a... More

We have visited the place after our visit at Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle and the Conciergerie. The staff were very friendly and polite and good in English, while the food was very good (one of my friends had escargot). The location is excellent as it is placed between the attractions described above + the glass windows give you the opportunity... More

This was the first restaurant that I went to on my recent trip to Paris. I was there for lunch on December 13, 2016. I sat outside. When I first arrived my waiter let me pick my table. I then went to use the rest room. When I returned my table was set beautifully with french mustard, baguette and pretzels.... More

Surprisingly a good place in between two historic spots in Paris. Even though it's a step away from the Louvre the majority of visitors are Parisians who come here for lunch/brunch/dinner. It's a busy place but don't worry the welcoming staff will make sure you enjoy your stay. As pretty much every care/restaurant in Paris they do try to accommodate... More

We had a nice dinner there, staff were friendly. Service was excellent, and food was good. Our four years old kid liked the two waiters very much, they gave him candies for free.

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighbourhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
