Me and my GF came to this place last year. If your moving to fast you will pass it but. The interior may be a bit dated but the service is great and the food matches the personality of the owner which of you can guess is wonderful. Try it you can't go wrong.

Stayed in Paris for 4 days and my cousin and I were having horrendous luck trying to find a decent place to eat as the previous restaurants which we visited in all honesty were absolutely horrendous!! As a result we started to trip advisor every restaurant before we decided to eat as we didn't want to have another tasteless experience... More

This is a wonderful place to try various french foods. Do not miss fondue savoyarde; melted cheese, excellent. Monsieur Pandelix and the other staff is very helpful and cheerful.

Did not like it much. Do not want to give less that 3/5 as service is really good and eventually we knew we were entering in one of the many traps for tourists (we had our reasons). We went for the 17 Euro menu. I was a bit disappointed honestly. Indeed none of the other 3 people who were with... More

We popped into La Braserade as we continued our culinary sojourn of St Michel. I marvelled at how good the bread was only to be impressed by the onion soup and other endearing treats that were served to us both. The venue is worth every moment.

Boring French fries and we asked for medium but got well done rump steak. My salad consisted of three ingredients. Half an iceberg lettuce walnuts and Roquefort. Totally edible but a very touristy place where no locals would go.

The prices were very good for what we got. Our first stop for food in Paris did not disappoint. The escargot was delicious. The 3 cheese fondue was delicious. I did not love the ham and cheese crepe. Friends ordered rump steak and duck and I ordered the Beef Sauvignon. Sauvignon was yummy. I liked the meat but the potatoes... More

We stumbled across this place after wandering from Notre Dam into the Latin Quarter. I'm vegetarian and that always proves a bit tricky in France. Not here though. The service was incredibly friendly and they were more than happy to answer our questions regarding the wine. I had the traditional french onion soup with a goat's cheese salad for the... More

No interest was shown being visitors from Australia and coming into this restaurant. When asked for some butter for the bread that was placed in front of us that was an effort. I asked for the lamb meal to be well cooked the waiter acknowledged this only to have medium piece placed in front of me. Soggy chips, raw lamb... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine.
