This is a come as you are kind of restaurant. All here is relaxed, cool, friendly and beef! There is a lot of local people coming to just say hi or have a drink. This is casual atmosphere! They have a lot of different tartare on the menu! You can choose the size as well. I have been there a... More

I use to come in Paris 2/3 times a year and my first dinner is always at les tontons. The food is great, you can choose between different kind of tartare, my favorite is the one with Roquefort and honey. Amazing food, nice atmosphere.

ok, I'm buyest ;-) I have come to Park George Brassens every week end for the old book market and had lunch at "les Tontons" for ever. It's one of these places where you meet the locals from the market, some local artists and book aficionados. the food is all about beef (these used to be the old "abattoirs") of... More

For tartare afficionados. They have 20+ of them. My favorites are the 3-spices and the catalan. And if you like a challenge, try the hexagone. It is a tasting of 6 different tartares. Probably 24 ounces of meat or so. For the rest it is a very typical french cafe with pictures of a Frech cult movie of the 60's.

A steak and fries with a sauce bearnaise which was completely OK. It was a really pleasant bistro feeling.

The food was great and enough quantity to kill your hunger. Staff were not that friendly though. But I would recommend if you are already in the restaurant's surroundings.

This is the best restaurant we tried whilst staying in this area. It is quite a small restaurant but is busy every night. The main focus here is on Steak Tartare dishes which we had never tried before in France as - being English! - were a little afraid of it. Please don't be. We would thoroughly recommend the dish... Amazing choice of tartare! Good service in this small local place. Friendly and efficient service. Booking may be advisable as the place is quite small

I've never seen such an extensive list of tartare to choose from. While I am a purist in the matter, it is difficult not to get tempted by some of the more original options. I wouldn't say that this is my best tartare ever, but it definitely is the best value for money I have found so far!
