This restaurant which is near our hotel is a convenient spot for a delicious meal. Patronized by locals, they are always busy. Recent meal included mushroom ravioli, creamed mushrooms in puff pastry, and onglet with potato gratin. All was delicious, BUT we feel that the...prices have been going up steadily. Onglet was Euro 33 and delicious; 4 mushroom raviolis were Euro 16 which worked out to about US $5/ravioli! Veal on the menu was Euro 55! That seems very steep for a neighborhood place with no tablecloths and tables about 1’ apart. Our 500 cc carafe of red wine was Euro 48! That is about 3x the going price at other similar restaurants. The wine was good, but this was a HOUSE wine, no label etc. Thus, we decided that altho the food and wine were VG, the steep prices for a bistro are not justified. We can afford it, but would rather enjoy a better value.More

We've been to Les Botanists a few times and it has always been excellent. It's tucked away at the edge of St Germain and is quite small and can be quiet, but the food is excellent. It is streets ahead of other Paris restaurants we...have tried, and by far the best food we ate in our recent trip to Paris. All courses were excellent - soup, steak and dessert, as was the wine. Liked the service also. Has a nice friendly feel - you always feel welcome (which is not always the case in Paris restaurants!).More

We would not return. I rarely give a bad review but I am honest. Upon arrival a man walked through the middle of this small restaurant to bring in his garbage can. We were pretty surprised it wouldnt have been done before opening. I ordered...the beef steak. It was extremely tough to chew.I had two small bites of meat. The potato dish was very good. The salad is a large portion of very fresh lettuce nothing else but the dressing was very good. Service was ok language was a problem.More

We ate here while staying at the hotel next door. This is a GREAT restaurant- the food, wait staff, chef and atmosphere are perfect for a night out in Paris! Can’t go wrong with the lamb or duck. Highly recommend.

Very good food. Service ok. Wine was overpriced. We felt that it was too expensive for what we got all things considered.

There are so many places to eat in Paris, we just needed a few. This was on the list from a friend in Chicago and we are so glad we went. Food was delicious - cold mussels with curry sauce, beef entree, squid risotto, and...of course the apple crumble. Service was great as she explained everything on the chalkboard since we didn’t understand French. We’ll be back here the next time we are in Paris!More

When trying to find a place within walking distance from our accommodations, we found Les Botanistes. The atmosphere was comfortable, cozy, and warm with a classic Parisian feel. The service, food, and time could not have been better for our group.

A delightful dining experience. Ingredients are exceptionally fresh, and from farm to table. Menu is limited, and refreshed on a daily basis depending on what ingredients are available on that day. Food quality is good. Flavourful. They have a good selection of wines too. Price...point is reasonable. Value for money. Good choice for dinner in Paris !More

Cosy little French restaurant with a familiar atmosphere. Impressive wine list and the menu presented at a slate. We had a three course dinner accompanied with a lovely wine. Started with terrine with apricots, cornichons and baguette ( nice taste but would have preferred some...kind of Cumberland type sauce to juicy up the terrine). As a main course we had lovely chicken thighs fillet with carrots confit / sirloin steak with potatoes gratin so tender cooked to a perfectly temperature. For dessert we had a classic Baba. Recommend visiting this restaurant!More
