Tiny but charming place, offering plenty of beer and whiskey options, if that's where your inclinations lie - nice stop after dinner at one of the restaurants on the nearby square (Place Sainte-Catherine).

Sought this place out to watch the All Blacks play while I was far from home. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and the bar owner goes above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to get along here for a spot of whiskey and a good yarn.

Matt and every one there was very welcoming and made me feel at home. This was a great place to watch a Euro 2016 match. I would stop by for a pint anytime.

nice little place with some scottish beers, but a little expensive 8 euro for a pint, but they are imported. They do have good working wifi, owner is a little "scottish" but the place has it charms.

Stopped in late one night for a few beers and had a great time. Excellent beers (Brewdog on tap) and the Bartender who we met from another pub the night before was great fun and full of conversation recommending things to do in Paris. the pub like most in Paris is small but would highly recommend you stop in if... Straight shooting bartender with a great sense of humor. Great beer with a selection of scotch and other whiskies. Features 3 (soon to be 2) Brewdog beers. Would definitely go again.

Wife and I spent New Year in Paris. We spent Hogmany with mine host Shep and a bar full of the nicest friendliest people who made us so welcome. Dancing , singing , Haggis and oatcakes , and one or two aperitifs. Atmosphere was superb , and Shep went out of his way to welcome us to his bar. I... More

Fun place to get a beer or a drink away from all the crowds. Nice to find an English speaking island in a French sea. Take a break, don't be a hipster, step I and have a beer.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
