I had a lovely meal with my family here, the staff were so friendly and made great recommendations. The food was so nice and the puddings were amazing!
I first discovered Les Cascades when I was a student working at Lycee Paul Valery just up the road from the restaurant. I really liked it there both for a midday snack and dinner when family would visit me. Since then I've been back regularly...and the atmosphere and food has always been excellent. It's been 3 years since my last visit and this time I wasn't very pleased. My partner and I asked for a bottle of rose wine from the wine list. Instead of this the waiter brought us wine in a pitcher which was clearly not what we ordered. I queried this with the waiter - in French - who insisted the wine was definitely what we ordered. As we were not charged for the more expensive wine I decided to let it go. Also the beans my friend had with his steak were clearly not fresh. There are some restaurants in tourist areas of the city where I might expect a waiter to exploit the naivety of a tourist but not at Les Cascades. I expect an improvement in time for my next visit - please remember this restaurant is part of a community where I once lived and worked, so I care about it!More
We were here with our daughter and had a fine meal with some good wine recommendations. The confit de canard is excellent, and the salads are sumptuous. The waiter gave us each a good glass of wine for our food.
I ate dinner here several times and it became one of my favorite restaurants. I tried many different items (appetizers, entrees, and desserts) and enjoyed them all. Les Cascades offer a wide variety of menu choices, excellent portion sizes, great food, and attentive service. The...atmosphere is casual but classy, and there is outside seating too. If I lived in the vicinity I would be there every Friday evening.More
I was pleasantly greeted and food was brought out promptly! The atmosphere is nice and the food was terrific! They offer English menus if needed.
We came here before going to The Aquarium... warm welcome, really nice decoration and we sat in cosy harm chair. Cocktails are really good (bora-bora) , meat is well cooked. Worth the price. Congratulations (68euros for 3 with cocktails and wine)
It was more than 40C outside and we were hungry having drove from the UK. In possession of a dog we werent expecting to find it so easy to find a nice place to eat. We were welcomed, ushered to an air conditioned spot and...fed wonderful fois gras, tomato tartare, steak frites and goats cheese ravioli. Delicious, served quickly and elegantly. No pretence just great cafe dining a la Paris. Thank youMore
This restaurant was 5 minutes from the motel we were staying in - Motel One Porte Doree. My husband was sick in bed and I did not want to travel too far so I went here for lunch. I had an enormous hame and cheese,...tomatoes and herb tartinne that was delicous. I liked the place so much that my husband and I went for dinner the next night!More
Friendly, delicious food, accomodating - English and French menu, comfortable, pleasant atmosphere. We popped in on the off-chance and they could not have been nicer - so nice in fact that we went back on another evening. Recommend!
I was there on a Monday evening without reservation and l liked! It’s located in a great area, very good looking & safe. Food was decent, drinks were fine, only service wasn’t as good as l wish it was. They were rather slow and slightly...uninterested. We had the Rumpsteak and the pork fillet minon, both were delicious!More
Thank you for making us so welcome during our recent stay and the lovely lamb and steak dinners we had last night finished off with delicious local cheese and an assiette of desserts ! We were served by a fantastic waiter who went out of...his way to make us feel welcome and even though we made a genuine mistake with the bill he handled it all with humour and we left feeling very full up and happy 😊More
Visited for a drink or 2 during the evening while in Paris. A great spot to hang out and watch the world go by.
After a long day of traveling, we stopped by this restaurant for a quick bite during our first night in Paris. The waiter was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the grilled vegetable salad.
After hours visiting the Immigration Museum we went for a quick light lunch. The service was efficient and the food average. No complaint.
