Less than an hour after I had arrived in Paris and while walking down the street in search of a place to have lunch, I noticed a cafe with terrace behind the classical building of the Maison d'Architecture. I had vaguely read about the place...More

We wandered in here after visiting previously a year ago and it appears to have deteriorated with few staff and a chaotic and bizarre food service. The venue is in an old monsatery, concrete floors and with an urban vibe but no urban chic at...More

I was there for the brunch with my girlfriends on a very hot and sunny day. We had booked a table for the brunch a few days in advance. Yet our waitress never tried to accommodate us with the sun and the heat and eventually...More

The cafe A is located in a former convent so offers very quaint grounds. Service was good but I was rather disappointed by the quality of the food for 26€ per adult and 12€ per child. The eggs are mushy and overlooked, the salad had...More

A wonderful find close to Gare de l'Est in an old monastery taken over by an Architectural college. There is a funky Parisian vibe to this place with cool students and older clientele, the food is a mix with some great vegetarian and meat dishes...More

Café A has such a huge potential, yet it is so underdeveloped. Service is apalling. The food menu is poor. Drinks are basic. So sad considering the very nice setting under the trees

We arrived at 2.30, 30 min before the end of the lunch time. The waiter arrived at 3. He ignored us for 30 min to finally tell us that they stopped serving (in a rude way).

Canal Saint-Martin
The tree-lined Canal Saint-Martin is the focal point
of one of the most romantic and hip areas of Paris.
Watch boats travel along the canal while lovers and
friends take in the atmosphere from the banks or the
bridges. Evenings see hoards fill the embankments to
drink wine and enjoy good company. The colder days
lead people to hipster bars, cozy restaurants, and
concert spaces. Those who are more adventurous may
