I had late night dinner and lunch there. The service was polite and joyful, food - nice & plenty, decor - simple & creative (vintage sport-ish theme) - background music lifts up your mood.

Quality place. Just ate there with my gf. Went for the MEGASUPERBURGER and my gf took a Cheese salad. Plus dessert (her) and coffee, all for 35 euros. Price's correc then. Gotta say everything was so tasty, my burger was accompanied with large fries and they were very well cooked. Shame the burger wasnt MEGA (in terms of size) at... More

Good to go to Les Athletes in a crowd, great atmosphere, great food, friendly service. Plates range from around 15 Euro at lunch to around 18 Euro in the evening (24 Euro plates if you are starving!). Busy, buzzy atmosphere. The tartare is excellent as are those little meatball hamburgers. Mains feature huge hamburgers with fries prepared to perfection. Best... More

May be one of the best places around to eat a burger or have a piece of beef. You will however probably have to be patient, the service being quite long. It is however too expensive: 24 € for a burger is not serious, whtaver the quality of the ingredients. One more advice, the waiters will probably try to help... More

Great food, freshly prepared. French classics and burgers. Friendly service. Charolais meat is delicious. It offers local French produce cooked to perfection.

Across the street was a half empty restaurant with a bar kind of name, "Les Athletes". Well it was great! Food was good,... More

Les Athletes is a retro sport theme restaurant where you will not find a single TV screen but in its place, mythical and historical objects such as old bowling balls, weights you grandpa used to use, boxing gloves like the ones Muhammad Ali used to fight with, medals, trophy’s, vintage photography and vintage snowshoes that will plunge you into a parallel, refined and refined world. The ceiling which is covered with salvaged old plates that use to hang during the colonial era in South African houses is the finishing touch that sets the tone at Les Athlètes. Our kitchen’s objective is to transmit flavourful emotions, to taste the taste of victory, such as when one hits a ninth inning homerun with bases loaded or 100m run dash victory by a split second! On your marks, get set...GO! A variety of culinary events await you at Les Athlètes. The first inning is made up of a selection of cold cuts, followed by a second half of tender braised beef cheek served with vegetables, then get qualified for the coffee competition taking place on our terrace and lift the’’ Digestif’’ Trophy.A large terrace situated under a row of majestic columns on Rue des Colonnes awaits you for an after work after a long day at the office or a long day of sightseeing in Paris. The restaurant has two floors available for those who wish to organize private cocktails, private evenings, birthday parties or business dinners. Restaurant on two floors, you can contact us for cocktails, parties, birthdays, business dinners ... Athletes give you the option of privatizing the place (even partially).

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
