This bar was near to our hotel so we popped in to take advantage of their Happy Hour deal of large beers for 5 Euros with a sharing platter of cheese, meats and bread. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming and the food was excellent

We wanted to eat close to the hotel and found this place a block away , it is obviously not a bad place as it was quite busy and short of tables but the staff did find a seat for us . The food was good desert was good and the prices were ok , a bit too much cigarete... More

The staff here are helpful and speak English if you ask. They do teach you how to say some things in French so be brave and have a go. The menu (only in French) was varied without being too hard to understand. Most tables were full or reserved when we arrived around 7.30 but they were happy to find us... More

This small boutique restaurant is a hidden / unassuming gem in the lower Montmartre area. Fantastic but small menu but will please the most discerning of taste buds. And the house red is more than adequate. A real pleasure

We stopped at Jolie de Boheme just to get out of the rain on a Thursday night. The ambiance was delightful, a beautiful chandelier adorns the dining room and the staff is friendly and attentive. We shared a bottle of wine and a wonderful chocolate dessert, both of which we're excellent. Highly recommended, if you can find it.

Went in here for a drink, good atmosphere, good service. Helpful staff gave advice when asked. And I just like these kind of locations, near a metro-entrance and just in the middle of a residential area.

We tried some lunch (sandwiches and omelette). Both were average at best. Very nice staff. The location is a little hidden, so there are more locals then tourists.

We just went for drinks and the place was very nice with good atmosphere and lots of young people having a drink or to. We did not have a bite to eat but the menu looked nice. Good stop after a stroll around Montmartre.

We took a stroll in Montmartre and stumbled into this place - and glad we did. Good prices, pretty good food and ok service. We shared a couple of dishes - a salad with beets, parm, procuttio - it was awesome. We also had the espanola omelet - and that was just ok - a little undercooked for my likely... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
