Sens Uniques 44 rue Damremont, 75018 Paris, France I’d come over with the family to run the Paris marathon. We booked online in advance and arrived on the Friday night for a pre-race treat. We’d booked the restaurant as it was close to our hotel and had good trip advisor reviews On arrival there was 1 guy serving, and 1-2... More

She wasn't polite enough. I asked 20% off because I booked with the fork which they are gonna give us 20% discount. We ordered quite enough but she didn't give us discount. When I ask her why she didn't give us it, She was quite rude. Its not the behavior of good restaurant.

We went there last night, Saturday March 5th and were pleasantly surprised! We were trying to book other French cuisine restaurants with a higher ranking and prices, but were unsuccessful, so took a chance here. First impressions, the place is warm, clean, modern and intimate. My only concern was that there were only 2 front-staff and when the place was... More

Paris can be very hit and miss for food but Sens Uniques is exactly the sort of place you hope to stumble across. Excellent food, unfussy but well presented, friendly service and good wine at a reasonable price (under €50 a head for 3 courses from the a la carte menu and a carafe of wine). It was really busy... Sens Unique is a nice quiet restaurant in Montmarte. The food was delicious. I had cream of mushroom soup and the guinea hen (poultry) with vegetables for the main course. Both were perfectly prepared. We also had a nice bottle of white wine which complimented the food well. The atmosphere is modern and relaxed.

This place is really worth to visit! We spent a fabulous lunch and emptied a great choice of red wine for two. The foie gras was perfect for starter, then I had fish and my friend had chicken for our main course....really a pleasure to savored our foods. This was our last dinner of our holiday and was recommend by our french friend. I was sold as soon as I saw lamb shank on the menu. We didnt have much knowledge of the french wine list so we asked and accepted a recommendation and it was spot on - so much so that we bought a bottle to... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
