A nice meal should start with a nice smile and welcome, both of which were non-existence. They even had the nerve to lie about all tables were reserved and I have to sit at the counter. Pho was not authentic (even though I always give brownie points for being so far away from home) and disappointing. Not sure how this... More

Excellent food and really helpful waitress who thoughtfully gave us advice on ingredients that may not suit our party with allergies etc. The food was very fast, fresh, tasty and authentic. Cosy ambience. Would go back in a flash!

The food was very tasty and it is clear that they are using very good ingredients. We would definitely come back.

By luck found this wonderful restaurant by chance. It is a small cozy place and when we walked in the place was full and I can tell right away it was filled with local Parisians. We were told to wait twenty minutes but was seated after ten. We ordered three apps, cold and fried spring rolls and crepe with pork... More

We came here based on good reviews and it was close to our hotel. Upon being seated, we were given water and a dish of prawn chips. What a nice start...but we were given 3 chips for the 4 of us! The next table over from us, party of 2 were given 4 pieces! Is it because they're locals and... More

Authenticity is not a requirement, but tasting good is. Spring rolls were good but the chicken skewers with rice weren't. They tasted very different from what I've had in other places.

Was driving by and the atmosphere called my attention. Really lovely resto, with smooth jazz music, and great food for the price.

I do not understand the negative comments here. The menu is simple (not like most Asian restaurants with 20 pages of everything), the price are really friendly (11,50€ main course; 15,50€ with desert). Products are fresh and qualitative. On top of that good service and quite cosy atmosphere. Difficult to find but its good to be a bit far from... More

It was a good meal, paying EUR 23 for a starter, main and dessert. Nothing spectacular but solid. My starter was sticky rice and sausage was tasty. The pho that I has as a main was under-seasoned and a bit disappointing. Not sure if I will go back to this place other than for a quick dinner when I'm in... More

I don't think anything will compare to my mums pho or spring rolls. The food here is ok. Nothing to rave about. It hits the spot and the flavours are spot on. Probably lacking in fish sauce here and there. Ask for the fresh chilli if you like heat - it's HOT! Menu in French, though if you've been to... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
