Very welcoming and patient wait staff. Food was delicious, too. And, the restaurant features all kinds of wonderful sweets.

We were fortunate to find this place on our walks though the passages and arcades of Paris. It is an excellent place to stop for lunch. We enjoyed the best Quiche Lorraine ever! Then enjoyed pastries and coffee. The staff were very patient with our limited French but we were happy we persevered. The owner told us that everything is... More

This salon welcomes with a cosy atmosphere for a relaxing visit between all the sightseeing and allows to recharge one's batteries. Staff is friendly and helpful (even if one has only basic knowledge of French ;) and allows one to sit (even for longer) and just relax. Sweets are excellent- best macarons we have tried while in Paris - and... More

What can I say ? I was fortunate to stumble across Le Valentin back in 2014 by accident. I wrote about it on Tripadvisor. It was intrigue from the passage and stumbled across this salon full of sweets and delights. I never forget it and took these moments back with me to the U.S. to share with my family. 2... More

This is such a pleasant little place - we went several times on our most recent vacation. Everything was wonderful. If this place was next to my house I would be much heavier than I am! My husband is a coffee drinker - he said that the coffee was great. I'm a tea drinker - there tea is wonderful. We... More

Beautiful salon, we sat upstairs, very chic and spacious. We all loved our lunch meals - we had the daily specials - mixed seafood salad , and steak with sauté potatoes. Beautiful display of delicious looking pastries. Recommend.

We have stopped by this wonderful little restaurant on many recent visits to Paris. Delicious food, friendly staff, dessert delights and a quirky little upstairs bathroom. I can't wait to go back for lunch on my next visit to Paris in a few months.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
