Location and contact

We're a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means "the daily bread" in French, and like our name suggests, we're bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That's why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you'll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

The menu petit dejeuner (14€) was great, very tasty. Pan au chocolat/croissant, different breads with homemade marmelades and chocolate and cappuccino. The place was very nice, next to the Palais Royal, and the waiters are very kind. Perfect.

The brunch menu is rich, you can find your happiness wether you are vegan or not. All the ingredients are fresh and nicely composed in the plate. The negative point of this restaurant is the service, we were not especially nicely received and the service...More

OK, so first of all, the service is very cold and waiters are NOT friendly. If I remember well we didn't even get a "bonjour". The place is ok, although tables are a bit dirty. The place is expensive: we paid 18€ for a coffee,...More

Order the large cup of cafe creme with a croissant to dip it in. The omelette with the salad were amazing as well. The french bagette which is complementary is so yummy. A place to be in Paris.

Large variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Nice healthy and good food. Many vegetarian, organic options. Not cheap, but definitely good.

I've been to this cafe several times now, mostly for lunch, so, at a busy time, you might expect a long wait, but, this LPQ has definitely won the prize for keeping you waiting. The menu is very good, especially for Veggies of course, and...More

I visited this place with friends. Though I had heard negative things about it, I thought, why not give it a try. The least I can say is that it was a bitter disappointment. Cleanliness: questionable. The staff half-heartedly wiped off the table, leaving crumbs...More

The bread and fruit were good, coffee weak, eggs undercooked, sandwich lackluster. 4 meals cost over $80 and no one was satisfied. Disappointing with so many great options in this city. The server was polite and attentive but forgetful.

English menu available. I purchased the soup and half sandwich special which came with a small salad. The avocado toast, nicely appointed with an avocado slice atop the paste, seemed to be on a stale bread slice. The tomato soup, while tasty, was obviously microwaved....More

We wanted coffee and some edibles. Wife had found this place on TA so we went here. Service good and friendly. Breakfast was delivered in a reasonable time. Tasted good. Recommend Le pain for breakfast and coffee.
