The pasta (served in a iron pot) were delicious, the seasoning was great, and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend this place.

Friendly service but the food quality is not there. Too cooked pasta and dessert is below expectation.
The hostess was gracious and the food fantastic. Pasta dishes served in cast iron pots with excellent sauces ( we shared ) would highly recommend!!!
This restaurant was opposite our hotel (le petit bastille) and our two little ones wanted pasta! This is the place to come for pasta. The pasta comes out in black oven pots and taste fantastic. Their portions are generous and very fresh. The children were...well looked after and were later allowed to sit at the bar and draw pictures. Their final masterpieces are sitting proudly stuck on the bar wall. This place is well worth a visit if your in the Nation area.More
We went there on a Friday evening with friends because they recommended the place and were not disapointed, the staff was super-friendly, the pastas and antipastis tasted great and the oprtions sizes were huge! Will definitely come back soon to try the other dishes!
So we researched this restaurant and chose it due to great reviews that we read. We were a large group of 14. It took us a long time on the Metro but we had always trusted trip advisors suggestions. After walking through Metro (M) 1...line heading to Charles de Gaulle Etoile.. exit on Gare de Lyon possibly the scariest neighborhood down a dark alley that we should have never walked but it was too late to turn back. We finally reached our destination at 1000 pm and it was closed even though the website said closed at 1100. It was still saying "closing in 26 mins" when I checked Needless to say we had to search for another place to eat and ended up eating our dinner at 1130 pm and almost missed the Metro cut off to get back to our hotel.More
The restaurant is so good and beautiful that I thought that I was at home, it was so good that I will come agin and agin and again thank you for being
I had the creamy ham pasta and it was awesome! the sauce was superb and unique! portion is huge and can serve for 2. tried the tiramisu and it was average only. overall a very nice and cosy restaurant with very helpful staff
We visited with our family (3 adults and a kid). This was our first time to this restaurant. The hosts were very welcoming and suggested multiple vegetarian options. We ordered Pasta alla Baresana and Tortellini with basilic cream sauce. Both these dishes were freshly prepared...and served hot. We loved the flavor, smell and taste of both pasta and tortellini and had a delicious dinner. The place has a relaxing and pleasant ambience. Despite the excellent rating for the main course, we felt that the coffee was just OK but not great.More
Having read previous tripadvisor reviews I’d arranged to meet a business partner for dinner at Il Far’niente so took the trouble of reserving a table then re-confirming a few days before the meal. So far so good. Imagine my dismay when upon arriving at the...restaurant – the young man blankly replied that he didn’t have our reservation – also most embarrassing in the presence of a business colleague. After much discussion and persuasion the young man eventually agreed to clear an unused table and seat us – back on track. We both commented that this restaurant certainly lacks atmosphere – no background music, drab posters sparsely placed around the walls and uninspiring service. We both also noticed an off-putting unpleasant smell of drains rising up from the downstairs toilet/ kitchen area. The blank young guy took our orders – good value at €23 menu for entree and plat. We both opted for the antipasti - a selection of charcuterie consisting of 1 slice each of prosciutto, coppa, salami, a quarter artichoke and quarter sun-dried tomatoes each - hardly exceptional. The main courses are almost exclusively pasta based – served in a pot (à la marmite) – not a salad, escalope de veau or entrecote in sight. I opted for the ‘suprême de volaille aux zestes de citron, crème de mascarpone aux truffes’ which was tasty – but the chicken was disappointing – cooked-and-recooked with the consistency of soggy cardboard. My colleague chose ‘Marmite de boulettes (bœuf) au gorgonzola et chèvre fondu’- again the sauce was tasty but the beef meatballs were quite tasteless – more essence of beef than meaty morsels. My colleagues 50cl Cote du Rhone was acceptable at €11. Our final bill came to €59 which was good value – but overall – we were both disappointed – certainly not a happening place with any type of Paris vibe. Yes the pasta is tasty and copious – but if your prefer quality cusine over quantity – try elsewhere.More
Good local pasta-only restaurant. Friendly staff and good ambience. Not much other than pasta on main course menu. Portions are huge so unless ravenous I would share. Would be be better with a few other menu options and perhaps some salads for the non-starving. €29.50...each for 2 courses with a bottle of reasonable wine is good value (for Paris). Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Nation area.More
Absolutely delicious, original and authentic pasta dishes and generous portions! We went there on our last night in Paris and it was the perfect end to a beautiful trip. The French cuisine is very good, but if you feel like having great Italian food then...this is the place to go. Service was friendly and attentive. You can taste that the food is freshly cooked with high quality ingredients. Plus: We honestly had the best limoncello of our life there!More
Nice small restaurant with heart and soul, and above all tasty dishes and more than acceptable prices. Recommended!
The restaurant is charming and the food was some of the best Italian I have ever had. Served family style and one pot was plenty for two women. The bruschetta was so delish!! There was only one waitress though and the meal took almost 3...hours. She was hustling the entire time!! So plan for a long night but totally worth it! The tiramisu was the best I have ever had!! Will definitely be back!More
This restaurant is on the opposite side of the road to the Best Western le Patio Hotel and just a bit further up the road to the left of the Hotel. The hostess handed us English menus and also speaks very good English despite us...desperately trying to speak with our limited French! Extremely generous portions! We enjoyed a complimentary liquor at the end of the meal. We ate here two evenings during our week's stay.More
