Great service and delicious French fares. I ordered their onion soup, beef tartare and the white asparagus. Ooh!! The creme brulee!!! The table next to me enjoyed their meal too and commented that they had a good dining experience as well. The staff were all...friendly and welcoming. Close proximity to the Moulin Rouge too.More

Wonderful dinner before a late show at the Moulin Rouge, which is literally a few doors down. Restaurant is cozy but comfortable and there were tables outside for the Parisian experience for smaller groups (we were 8!) Wait staff were the owners so no surprise...that they were super attentive and friendly. Cocktails were fantastic - I started with a lovely cold glass of dry champagne. Onion soup not to be missed - so yummy - and our family tried everything from sea bass to risotto to fish and chips to a cheeseburger- all were delicious!! Desserts were the highlight of an amazing meal!! We would definitely choose this restaurant again!More

This is a delightful restaurant in Montmartre - the service was excellent and the food delicious. Excellent risotto and boudin basque. Nice wine list. Reasonably priced.

Lovely small cafe steps away from the Moulin Rouge. We had a lovely dinner here pre show. The place is small but put out great food. Highly suggest this before the show at The Moulin Rouge. Nice staff, as well.

Outstanding food. We visited other places in Paris, this was the best restaurant by far. If you are going to see Moulin Rouge eat here before.

Visited here 4 years ago as a pre Moulin Rouge meal with friends, and did the same this year with my mum. The food and service is just as good as I remember. The escargot, onion soup, and white asparagus were divine. Go. You won’t...regret it.More

Nice little restaurant very close to Blanche metro. We had the sea bass and vegetables which was full of flavour and fresh. The staff are really efficient and had a nice sense of humour. Would go back there for sure.

As per a great many people, we had booked to see the famous Moulin Rouge show at 9pm. We arrived at the SB for 7pm. We chose the SB, mainly because we’d seen negative reviews of the food at the MR. I had the pork...belly with mash potatoes and my girlfriend had the steak w/chimichuri and the mash potatoes too (swapping out the frites with no problem at all). Both dished were INCREDIBLE- we’re “foodies” and were blown away. Both meats were amazing and the mash potatoes put all other mashed to absolute shame. I literally could’ve eaten just the mash potatoes and I would’ve been in heaven. We fancied some vegetables that evening and couldn’t see them on the menu as a side dish, so we simply asked the waitress if it was possible and she said no problem at all and brought out a delightful vegetable assortment in a bowl for us to share along with our mains. The waitress who was very nice suggested a white wine that we hadn’t ever tried, but turned out to be absolutely to die for. We shared the crème brûlée, which was as light as air with a gorgeous caramel on the top as you might expect. If you are in the vicinity or indeed are thinking of booking the famous MR, please do not hesitate for one second to eat here instead, you will thank yourselves for doing so!More

I tried to book on line but my booking was declined. This was all rectified by a quick phone call to the restaurant. The welcome was warm, the staff, friendly and efficient, nothing was too much. As a group of 7 we chose a range...of dishes from the menu, all chosen were delicious, hot to the table and all thoroughly enjoyed. Having spent time in Paris and Amsterdam in the last week , this has been our best meal. Thank you very much. We can’t recommend you enough!More

The dinner was amazing, if a little bit pricy. We picked it because we had tickets to Moulin Rouge which is right next door.

Popped in with friends while in Montmarte. Had heard they had the most amazing Crème Brûlée. Restaurant nearly empty at the time. When we ordered several Crème Brûlées and drinks our waitress flipped around, without saying a word, and said something we couldn’t hear to...some fella we assumed was her boss. He came over and started picking up our utensils and napkins and rudely stated that we had to leave because we must order dinner. I completely understand if it had been busy. But, it wasn’t. The way the situation was handled was demeaning. The waitress should have discreetly explained to us that they didn’t offer dessert items without first ordering dinner. We would have apologized and quietly left. We left completely embarrassed by the situation. So, they might have excellent Crème Brûlée, or they might not, I don’t know. What I do know is their people skills are seriously lacking.More

Before attending a show at the Moulin Rouge, my daughter and I dined at Sanglier Bleu, just a few steps from the famous Moulin Rouge. The atmosphere and decor provided us with a truly upscale experience in the Montmartre area of Paris. The drinks, food,...and service were excellent. The sea bass was the best I have ever had! Thank you for a delicious meal and a great start to a fun evening and trip to Paris.More

From the beginning to the end: very nice experience. The service, food, timing, people. All at the summit and position of this place is definitely justified. I strongly recommend to book a place to avoid a surprise. We did book a table and the place...was full. Pricing is very reasonable considering the quality and location. If ever you are around, do not miss your opportunity and come here.More

Nice restaurant and next door to the Moulin Rouge so convient place to eat before a show. Welcoming staff. Menu was a little limited, good if you like fish but small portion sizes so a little over priced.

Delicious, high quality food in a relaxed environment. Staff were really lovely too. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’re going to the Moulin Rouge as it’s on the same street and only a few minutes walk away
